Beurre Echire AOC Butter - Unsalted (250 gram)

I love this butter. The French always knows how to do it. Only the best is good enough.

Unbelievable. We are ruined for any other kind.

The butter was delivered to my door very quickly and in a little styrofoam cooler with dry ice in it. Of course, it tastes wonderful, but there was a grayish blemish on the side of one of the blocks of butter. I first scraped off the area with a knife, but part of the gray color had to be whittled out with the knife. It tasted fine, but I was a bit put off by the blemish, which was almost the size of an American dime.

The Isigny Ste Mere, Butter Unsalted Roll that were shipped together with Beurre Echire were perfect. This one, however, was moldy oustside and inside - all over!

I hesitated because the shipping cost is more than the product, but it enhances the flavor of my pound cakes in such a way that I have ordered twice so far. I only use it for baking for special ocassions. The last time was a big birthday party for a friend.Another baker at the party said "I know this is pound cake, but what did you do to it". It's that good.

Best butter ever!! If you ever wonder why you sell out it is because I buy all of the butter.
