Needed an extension lead for the spare room where there just aren't enough wall sockets. Went with this four socket one from Masterplug and it does exactly what you'd expect. Four outlets is enough for most setups. I've got a lamp, phone charger, and a small fan plugged into mine with room to spare. The build quality feels solid enough, nothing flimsy about it. Plugs fit snugly into the sockets without being a fight to insert or remove. Cable length is decent for reaching across a room, though I wish I'd gone with the longer version for my specific setup. Had to rearrange furniture a bit to make it work. The on/off switch is a nice touch for cutting power without yanking the plug out. Nothing fancy here, just a reliable extension lead that gets the job done. Does what it says on the tin. Would recommend measuring your required distance first though so you grab the right cable length for your needs.

This socket has everything you would want it has surge protection and a surge indicator. Separate switches to allow control of whatever you have plugged in. The 2m cable length is very generous too. The price was excellent for this quality of goods. It has cleared a wire clutter because my last 4 socket was not long enough to conceal behind a media unit. I highly recommend this seller and the 4 gang socket.

As this isn't a long term review I cannot give a higher rating. However, the new design is a lot better, the individually lighted switches are massive benefit to being able to easily see which plug switch is on. The unit is solid well built and suitable for wall mounting. It has all the safety measures and gives confidence it will last. The cable length options are adequate and the cable quality is as you expect. The product is reasonable value for money and performs as expected. I would be confident to purchase this again, as long as it does last but short term it has been reliable.

This surge protection extension lead is excellent value for money and has a 3 year warranty. I live in a rural area and suffer from power cuts which can damage items like routers, TV's etc. The socket light up to show the surge is working and each plug has an individual on/off switch. Highly recommend and will purchase again.
