Easy to install and adjust.

Easy to install, great price, nice packaging, instructions could have been more detailed and they could have allowed for mounting greater than 16 inches but as you'll see this is how I worked around that.It took me a few hours to install as I had to make some modifications (and I was running my mouth) for my setup. I wanted the mount over my fireplace and since not only were my studs not 16 or less inches apart or center I had to make some adjustments.What I did was take a 4 foot 1x8 and secure it to the studs with lag bolts I purchased that were the same size that came with the mount, me being paranoid I probably by most standards went overboard but at least I don't have to worry about my TV going anywhere!After securing the 1x8, I secured the mount to the 1x8 centered where I wanted, which luckily also aligned the holes with another stud so the mount was bolted through the 1x8 and the stud, I used 6 lag bolts to secure the mount; again it may be overkill but I don't want that TV going anywhere than where I want it!!Finally, I attatched the brackets to the TV and placed the TV on the stand, tightened and positioned everything.Very happy with how everything looks, the price paid, and the functionality it now allows.

Ive had this mounted for over a week now and it hasn't fallen off the wall yet so that's good! The mount is heavy and solid and seems durable. I have a 65 incher at 60 lbs hanging from this. I deducted one star for a few reasons. First the tilt option must be pre adjusted before hanging on the mount, meaning if i want to adjust the tilt I need to take it off the mount and adjust it by guesswork, then hang it back up to see if it's satisfactory. (Though I am not utilizing the tilt function, I may have if it was a easier process). The swivel and extension are nice though. The second reason I deducted a star is after building and mounting right out of the box, making sure with a level that it is PERFECTLY straight on the wall, the TV was slanted. It turned out that the metal plate that the tv latches onto was crooked, so we had to level that piece which I felt should have been perfected in the factory before shipping. It was an easy fix none the less and this price is a lot cheaper than many other mounts out there so I am ok with those slight nuisances. Make sure you have an accurate level!

I am disabled, and I spent a few days reading all the reviews and trying to understand exactly what a tv mount entails. I managed to put this mount up by myself over 4-5 hours taking many breaks. The package of hardware is intimidating, and the main bolts are huge. So I purchased thinner screws at Home Depot that held 102 pounds each. I only had one stud in the space, so the thinner screws rated for 102 pounds in sheet rock were a must - 6 main screws total. I did however misunderstand one of the reviews, and thought the single top and bottom spaces on the bracket that attaches to the wall were centered with the front bracket to mount the tv. Nope. Definitely 3-4 inches off. I can slide the 32" inch tv over a bit on the mounting bracket, and I don't think anyone will notice. I used the mount on a 32" Vizio from Costco and put it over the kitchen sink. It looks fantastic and is rather easy to reposition. The shelf gets in the way when I pull the tv out at the max distance, but there is enough angle to see the tv from the dining room or from the laundry room. I'm gonna buy another one for the bedroom tv that is 60 inches. Should work fine.

Overall a great swivel mount. There were two minor flaws that took a star away....Flaws:- Joints are super tight. Now I'm going to assume this was designed on purpose... and that is to keep the joints from getting too loose. But, it does take a bit of arm strength to adjust this just right. Perhaps it's just too tight?- No way to lock the tv from sliding off its rails (left or right). In fact, I was extending it out and to the right when all of a sudden I realized I was actually sliding it off the rails to the right. Another few inches and the 55 inch tv would have slipped right off and crushing my toes below. They do provide a screw for each clamp that holds it onto the rail, but it's hardly effective.

Just mounted a 65" Samsung 7100 on this. It comes with actual lag bolts. Key is to finder center of stud. Once it was mounted i could do chin ups off this thing at 180lbs. Its very strong. The swivel is tight and takes effort to move but i prefer this over a loose swivel. The only small down side is for forward tilt once mounted you need a really long screw driver to access the turn handles but again its very sturdy once tightened. Forget the other review. People with dollar store tools will complain about lag bolts, so a cordless drill is recommended for the bolts. I literately had this up, centered, leveled and TV mounted in 30 mins. Hope your 37 Cent Home Depot screw hold yours 2000 dollar tv lol.

Great product. It held our 52 inch TV with no problems. I would recommend to anyone with a large TV.
