Today it is 70 degrees so I cannot comment on their ability to keep feet warm in snow; however, they appear to be well constructed. The bottom (tread and toe box) appear to be molded in one piece and that would make them extremely waterproof there. My daughter loves that they both Velcro and snap, apparently her friends have similar. They also have a toggle at the back so will be easy to fit to various foot shapes. I dropped a bit of water on the top part out of curiosity and it beaded up. The inner insulation is removable but not overly stiff. The blue is a nice color and will work for my daughter now and my son in a couple years without a fuss. They are very light for winter boots, should be easy to walk in. We have had the Stonz booties in the past so the brand was known to me. I received a discount coupon for these, but the review is my own.
