Fascinations Metal Earth 1931 Ford Model A 3D Metal Model Kit

Cool Model" A" P.U. truck. Building these Fascinations kits can be frustrating to make for a novice. They get easier after the first one. This is my sixth kit. you'll need a few tools such as needle nose pliers, small tinsnips, tweezers, and small screwdriver (type from eyeglasses repair kits.) and a magnifying glass. I use jewelers' or stamp collectors' goggles. Be patient and take your time. It is a tiny car. about 3 inches long. It has some good detail to it. I love the price, compared to larger scale plastic models, which are crazy expensive today. These finished models save space if you display them. It is kind of rewarding to make such a detailed small model.

This is one of my favorite builds I’ve done. It’s so cute when finished. I’ve seen some very harsh reviews of these Metal Earth Models written by people who don’t know how they work. People get upset because they bend too many times and they break the metal. If you go slow and really pay attention to the directions, this won’t happen. That’s not a flaw in the product, it’s the nature of thin sheet metal. I love these little models and I’ve had fun assembling many of them.

Quality product. Good color on the parts. I wish the instructions were better but I was able to get it together. Nice truck model.

The Ford Model A truck looks very nice when done. I have done a few Metal Earth models before. This one I thought would not be too hard to do. I was wrong. Things were going ok, but slow. Then I was on Page 3 where you form and install A-16 and B-17. They were two small pieces you attach to the floor board assembly. That went ok. Then I tried very carefully in a further step to put the fender Assembly B onto the floor board. I could not figure out how to do this because the A-16 part interfered. I ended up breaking the floor board A-1. After ordering another Model A kit I used a new floor board assembly and left out the A-16 and B-17 parts. Then everything went ok right to the end. You didn't even notice the missing parts. Remember this assembled model is only 3 1/2 inches long. Maybe a jeweler could do better. Anyway, I really like the completed truck.

Patter product. Not worth the money

Really fun model for my son to assemble. Having it already colored and with printing/stickers was great so its not just silver like the rest.

Es un muy buen modelo pero como la mayoría de los productos de modelismo los instructivos no son lo mejor del producto! Al final, en base a la experiencia que te va dando el hacer este tipo de modelos vas entendiendo y mejorando tu construcción. Se lo recomiendo a las personas que tengan la paciencia y herramienta básica! De lo contrario seguro te detonará un poco o un mucho de frustración.
