Pricey? Sure. But it works. It works REALLY well.
Wow! I first heard of this stuff on an episode of 'Jay Leno's Garage' on YouTube, and it really does the trick just like he says. It's sure not cheap, but just a few tests I did on some odd ratty chrome bits and pieces I had around sure made it clear it's worth it. It wipes away that rust, grime, shame and neglect like nothing else I've used. It's family-brewed somewhere in Louisiana, so it must have some sort of voodoo among its ingredients. By way of background, about 15 years ago, just before the turn of the millennium, 'Auto Restorer' magazine did a more-or-less scientific and controlled test comparing various chrome cleaners, and it turned out that the humble and fairly cheap 'Turtle Wax Chrome Cleaner' in the old green bottle came out clearly on top over several other much pricier and snazzier-looking brands in terms of ease of use, initial polishing ability and even weather durability (they polished sections of an old chrome bumper with each, and then left it exposed out in the weather for several months). They didn't test 'Quick-Glo' though, but my hunch is it would have held its own. I'll have to do my own weatherability and durability tests. But until then here's the bottom line: if you don't mind putting in, say, about twice or thrice the elbow grease, then your 'Turtle Wax Chrome Cleaner' is still a very fine choice for just 3 or 4 bucks, and it will definitely do you right and proud over the long haul. But if you want to just dab, wipe, shine and be done with it, then go ahead pay the nice man for the 'Quick-Glo'. Remember: for most folks it may be a lifetime supply.

This stuff WORKS!
I didnt clean my trucks wheels for almost two years aside from the occasional drive thru wash which didn't really deep clean anything just knocked surface dust off. My wheels were rusty, pitted and dirty as hell. I bought this product just hoping it would clean the parts that weren't rusty a little bit. I looked on youtube for chrome cleaners and a clip from Jay Leno's garage pops up advertising this amazing product from a dad and daughter run company that was non toxic and easy to use so I bought it off Amazon a minute later. I bought some layered cloth drill bits too and I went to town on my wheels just dip it in the can, get it alittle moist and drill away on those tires. Let it glaze over and wipe away its that easy. This stuff didn't just clean the good parts! It completely removed all the rust and pits and my wheels look brand freaking new I honestly can't believe it. And they shine so bright too. I've gotten so many compliments. I'm never going to let my wheel go like that again as the work to renew all 4 wheels was a 2 hour task but luckily since I renewed the tires now once every two or three weeks I rub some quick glo on the wheels and wipe it off and they are brand new shining again. This might sound like I'm a company shill but I assure you I am not. I don't write alot of reviews but when it's a product that delivers like this one did I can't help myself! Thanks alot quick glo this product really works!

Clean your household windows with it too
I never review anything, but I feel I should promote this, because it's one of the best products I have ever purchased. I saw a piece Jay Leno produced on his youtube channel "Jay Leno's Garage" to promote this product and went for it. I bought it originally to restore the rust-pitted chrome wheels on my old '69 Ford, and it took the surface rust off with ease, leaving the chrome looking like a mirror. Then I restored all the mirrors and windows on the truck, removing decades of haze and water spots. I've tried a lot of chrome and metal polishes from auto parts stores, but I think this is the best for chrome and rust removal, plus, there are no nasty chemical vapors. Cleaning glass with it is the icing on the cake. I have also been using it around the house. It's shockingly easy to remove calcium deposits from bathroom chrome, mirrors, glass, and porcelain tile. I will also never use anything but Quick Glo to clean the windows on my house. I've always hated cleaning windows, struggling to get them streak free, and to remove water deposits. I took about a teaspoon of Quick Glo, mixed it with an ounce or two of water in a small squeeze bottle. About 4-5 drops on a foam sponge is enough to polish a 24" square window, then buff the glass with a microfiber cloth. No streaks, no water spots, just crystal clear perfection. It may too abrasive for plastics, and some stainless steel appliances/fixtures, so careful with it there. If you use it for the above applications, I can't see how you would be disappointed. It's also made in the USA, by an American entrepreneur.

the product works good on the chrome but I do have another product ...
I would give it 4.5 stars if I could. I originally bought this product to restore a 1963 Schwinn that has a lot of chrome and aluminum parts. the product works good on the chrome but I do have another product that would work or shine the parts a little better. However, this will shine chrome well and take off small pitting spots. It is not a miracle worker product, so if you have heavy rusted parts this just won't take it away and leave your part perfect and shiny chrome, but no product will do that either. I like the fact it has waxed built in so when I do buff the chrome, I hope it will keep it protected from the small pitted areas showing back up again. I did use this on my chrome nerf bars after I washed the truck and it shined them very well and also removed any hard water spots or crud I missed washing. I definitely recommend this product. I do like this better than Never-dull.

Absolutely Amazing - Should be 6-Stars!
This stuff is absolutely amazing! Over the years Iโve used many different chrome cleaners / polishes and none have worked this well. In fact, up to this point I thought all chrome polishes were pretty much the same. Outside of the manufactures hype, the only thing that seemed to separate them was the color (shades of blue seem popular) and whether they were liquid or paste. The first thing I noticed when I opened the jar of Chrome-Glo was the color and consistency. Chrome-Glo is industrial gray in color and has a very thick paste consistency, thicker than any other chrome polish I have used. The next thing that struck me, after rubbing a bit between my fingers, was its gritty consistency. It seems as this would actually scratch the chrome, but according to their web site, what I was feeling was pumice that immediately breaks down to a very fine polishing powder upon application. They also make a finer consistency polish that is better suited for final polishing and touch up of new chrome. Unlike many other competing products, Chrome-Glo is water based and non-toxic. If you accidentally leave the jar uncovered and it dries out, just add a touch of water and itโs as good as new. My first test was on a 35 year old chrome wheel rim from a Triumph motorcycle Iโm restoring. Originally the rim has some surface rust and slight pitting. I had previously removed as much rust as possible using 0000 steel wool, as well as aluminum foil and water (an old restorers trick). A big name chrome polish followed this. There were still a few areas that werenโt perfect, but short of re-chroming, I figured this was as good as it would get. I took a white rag, applied a small amount of Chrome-Glo (I really like the fact that itโs thick and doesnโt run) and applied it as per the instructions. Iโm not sure what I expected, but I can tell you I was absolutely amazed when I pulled the rag away and saw it full of rust residue! Even more amazing was how great the wheel looked! This was in spite of the fact that I had previously gone over the wheel with steel wool, aluminum foil and another chrome polish! This stuff worked so well that polishing became fun! I started to look for rusty chrome just so I could polish it. Everything from rusty chrome exhaust tips, to vintage handlebars. Chrome I had once given up on now looks great! As good as Chrome-Glo is, it canโt replace missing chrome. If you have a large area of rust where the chrome has flaked away, it will still remove the rust, but you will be left with the base metal. In most cases, this is still much better looking than rust! Fortunately, I found that the majority of rust Iโve encountered in my garage is surface or light pitting. On these types of surfaces the result is almost like magic and the full shine is restored. I could go on and on, but I think you get the idea! This stuff is amazing!

Its OK, but didn't meet the hype in my opinion.
After some immpressive video's about this product (incl Jay Leno's Garage) I wanted some to work on the handlebars of a 45 year old motorcycle I'm working on. The rust wasn't that bad. I prepped it well with mild degreaser (simple green). Made sure all the degreaser was rinsed away well. Frankly that took away most of the powdery surface rust. There was some pitting I knew Quick Glo wouldn't "remove", but I thought it would clean out the pits of the rust color. Nope. It did make the chrome that was left look better, but the minor pitting is left untouched and quite a bit of contrast to the now shiny remaining chrome. I realize nothing is going to remove the pitting, but I had hoped it would dearest the pitting. It didn't, but I understand there is some wax in this product, so it may hold back the re-rusting.. A rust remover may have.

Easy to use, great results!
This absolutely exceeded my expectations! I recently bought some used Denali "snowflake" wheels for my truck, the ones with the 7 chrome inserts. The inserts had these large "water spots" on them, they looked like dust or grime but would not wipe off, nor did they come off with my various soaps or wheel cleaners I've tried. I ended up searching on here and this was the top result, and for good reason. As the directions say, I put a dime sized amount on a microfiber towel and gently rubbed it in, then used another clean towel to buff it out. Lo and behold, the spots came out fairly easily, and I was able to buff the inserts out to a nice chrome showroom finish. I didn't even have to scrub hard or put in a lot of elbow grease, it just came off. I'm not sure what is in here, but it absolutely works. It is a bit pricy, but a little goes a long way. I can see this little can lasting a few years easily. The only thing I'm unsure of is how durable to results will be. It may look great but it would be a bummer if it needs to be applied monthly, I'll try and update this review if I remember. I'm any case, the product delivers and does exactly what I needed, these used wheels look brand new! I had pics to upload but I can't seem to find the upload button anymore =/.

As Seen on Jay Leno's Garage
I bought this on recommendation and show-and-tell success on a Jay Leno's Garage video. Proven formula over decades and decades, not unlike, say, Sea Foam cleaner. Stuff that works that well for that long is worth a shot. I didn't hesitate to pick it up as I was restoring a surface rust-riddled all chrome '77 Schwinn Super Le Tour. The rust on the Schwinn had its own topography, something that QuickGlo was not going to quickly knock down (mechanical > chemical solution in this case), but Quick-Glo was an integral part of cleaning, restoring, and protecting the frame. Anything less than mountain-range-like rust and this stuff took care of it with not much effort at all. Really happy about that. The Schwinn also had a 40-year built up glaze that the Quick-Glo helped cut through, revealing the true chrome finish below. Using a micro fiber cloth, it did not scratch the chrome (chrome is tough, but still, never want to see just how tough) and polished it up beautifully. Quick-Glo is pretty much odorless and is advertised as non-toxic. Good for small enclosed space work (apartments!) where there is no access to a large and ventilated garage. As always, your mileage may vary. For crazy built up rust, something like crumpled up aluminum foil and a car paint detailing spray work to knock out the big stuff with the Quick-Glo taking over from there. An effective 1-2 punch in that situation. My Schwinn looks stellar, and I am happy about the polish+protecting formulas in this product as well. I may not want to spend a ton of hours restoring a chrome bike or piece again, but I know if I have to, I have a good product to perform near miracles. And for the price, it's nearly impossible to go wrong. [Pictures are before (sad!) and after with new decals applied (beautiful!). From 3+ feet away, you pretty much can't see the 'scars' from 40 not-easy years of life. Sweet!]

IT WORKS GREAT!!!
This stuff worked great I did my front and rear bumper and they look brand new. It took the rust spots right off with ease and shined them up. I emailed the company to see if this will work on ABS plastics with triple chrome coating, I'm still waiting for a reply back. One thing I'm going to do that nobody else has done in their review is a follow up with how many months it lasts before having to re-apply. I just applied it in April 6 2017 and I will do a follow up. Update: It's been over a month and still looks great. I never got a reply back to my question using this product on triple chrome ABS plastics. I will give further updates and may test my question to give the answer in the coming months Update 2: It's July 22nd 2017 and it still looks like the day I put it on GREAT!!! Update 3: it's January 14th 2018. My bumper still looks fantastic. This stuff is Amazing. My Last Update: It's March 10th 2018. It's been 11 months. My bumper still looks fantastic NO RUST. This stuff is the real deal. It's plain and simple it just WORKS!! I haven't tested it on triple chrome plated ABS (plastics) trim yet only because I don't have any rust on my door handles or tail gate handle yet. But overall you will not find a better product on the market then Quick-Glo. Here's a tip for car enthusiast to remove surface rust from cars paint use a wet magic eraser it comes off like nothing without damaging the paint then touch up with touch up paint.
