Perfect Percolator!
I love this Percolator! It's so nice to have consistently great coffee at home! This is the perfect size for my husband and myself. We got the 8 Cup Percolator and I simply make a full pot. The inside of this percolator has cup increment levels marked on inside, 2 cup, 4 cup, 6 cup, 8 cup increments. I use the 8 cup level marked inside. With the really large sizes of our morning mugs, we get a very hot (love very hot coffee! ) mug of coffee each. Sometimes I make a pot, let the whole thing cool to room temperature cool, pour the coffee in a container that seals into the refrigerator for iced coffee later. The coffee made in this is consistently perfect, very hot, beautiful color, not cloudy, never bitter, great tasting! It makes a full 8 cups of coffee in minutes, very fast! I also love that it keeps the coffee nice and hot til I can get to it if I'm busy as if patiently waiting for me. There are no push buttons. I just simply unplug it when I get to it to make our coffee. Love it! This is easy to clean and looks great on my counter. The shiny stainless steel and sleek looking design seems very sturdy and does not leak and has a great pour - no dribbling. It looks exactly as it is pictured. So, we got exactly what we expected. I love the shiny stainless steel! I highly recommend this Percolator! If you love getting very hot, great tasting coffee in every morning mug this is the Percolator to get! There is nothing at all i would change about this Percolator. I'm so very glad to have found this Percolator here at this price! It was a deal to us! With Amazon delivery, I ordered it one day and got it the next day!

Great Electric Percolator!
I’ve been using drip type coffee makers for years and have even tried a couple of K cup coffee makers. But, with all the news around plastics in our food and drinking water, I wanted to make the change to stainless steel. I have a stove top percolator that I love, but it takes me close to 30 minutes to prep, brew and clean up. I was looking for something that would give me the flavor of percolated coffee, but not require all of the monitoring of the brewing process for a stove top percolator. After researching all of the electric percolators on the market, I decided to go with the Farberware 8 cup for my morning brew. After two brews, I think I made the right choice. The Farberware 8 cup percolator is simple to use and brewed the perfect cup of coffee for me. The design is straightforward and setup is easy. Just add the desired amount of coffee into the basket, fill the percolator with water, place the basket and tube into the percolator, place the lid on top and plug it in. In under 10 minutes, I had a perfect cup of coffee. I know that some reviews complained that it produced a weak cup of coffee. Not so in my case. The coffee was strong and flavorful. Adding more or less coffee grounds to the basket is what adjusts the strength. Some reviews complained that the cord is short. With the electric outlet at the back of the counter, I am able to place the percolator all the way to the edge of the countertop without any concern about the length of the cord. Some complaints were about not seeing the progress of the brewing process as it doesn’t have a glass top. As this machine is all automatic and brews quickly, there really is no need for the sight glass. Just listen to the sound and you will know when the brewing process has completed. I’ve left the percolator plugged in for up to two hours and the coffee stayed nice and hot. If you’re in the market for a simple and affordable electric percolator, this machine will be a great choice for you!

Makes great coffee... when it works (Updated review)
We needed a smaller coffee maker for our RV. There's not a lot of counter space and every square inch is needed to cook. I thought about a percolator because it is much smaller than a drip coffee maker. This was so easy to set up and use! Within minutes of opening it I had hot coffee. I just followed instructions to clean first and set up, plugged it in and that was it. The coffee doesn't take any longer than a drip coffee maker to make coffee. The coffee is rich and flavorful. It also stays hot for quite awhile even unplugged. The pot and parts seem heavy duty. I am very happy with this percolator. I actually went online and read many reviews before ordering. This one was the highest rated of all of them in every report I read. The only disappointment is that this one doesn't have the clear glass top so you can see the coffee perking. Just a nostalgic touch that would be cool. **UPDATE** Sadly this percolator didn't even last a year. It was great for about 7 months or so then it started making weak coffee or just hot water. I looked up what the cause could be and it's either a dirty pot or the heating element inside isn't getting hot enough. I clean my pot at least 3-4 times a week. So it isn't a dirty pot. I just ordered a new one (different brand) after once getting hot water this morning. Older percolators back in the day lasted decades. Very disappointed. LATEST!!: After ordering 2 other brands of percolator and having the same issue, watching a ton of videos and reading many reviews, I finally figured out the problem. If the center tube isn't seated perfectly straight in the hole at the bottom of the pot it won't push the water through effectively. You end up with either weak coffee or hot water. Turns out it wasn't the percolator. It was operator error. I can now say after trying 3 different brands though this one is my absolute favorite. The coffee is rich and flavorful. It doesn't taste burnt or bitter.

SEE UPDATES!! Terrible CS and product
IMPORTANT…. Update: see below, dated 4/24 & 5/24. I really wanted to like this being a percolator user for decades. I order a used 'like new' one, but it arrived more broken than 'like new' so I returned to get another new one. It does the job and makes a nice, hot, flavorful cup of coffee. It is easy to clean, although you end up cleaning it earlier than you think (see below). My problems with may just be my personal issues, idk. 1. There is no light. I knew this. But it sure would be nice to have especially when brewing process stops and then later when you glance from across the room and ask yourself, 'Did I unplug that thing?' 2. Getting the top off is not easy and hence I am afraid, in the not too distant future, the black knob will snap off. That's how hard it is to remove. There is no screw, it is welded on, so if it breaks, there is not solution other than to somehow buy another whole top, or pry it open with a tool. Neither solution is great. 3. Because the inner part of the spout is so close to the top , you really do have to remove all baskets before you start pouring. Otherwise you will be refiltering/brewing some of your coffee. The baskets are hot, drippy and before having a first cup of coffee I find myself swearing a lot early in the morning. Plus, being slightly OCD, I then find myself cleaning the whole drip system before I even pour myself a cup of coffee. Maddening! These issues could just be me being a cantankerous old man who wants an easy cup of morning jo. It does make a nice hot cup of your favorite flavorful coffee. I will use this until it breaks, but still looking for my go to percolator. UPDATE 4/24 6 months in pot was working ok until we went to plug it in and the wire attached to pot sparked. Luckily my wife was not holding the pot anywhere near that area. Smell of burning rubber, a dark burn mark on my counter and a very frightened wife. The cord had just snapped in one section exposing a bare wire. (See pic) We have a coffee bar and are careful with our coffee pots. This was not user neglect or us ‘slicing’ the cord by mistake. We don’t prepare food by coffee bar. Wrote to Faber customer service but have yet to hear from them adding to disappointment. This is very dangerous . Someone could have been shocked, the counter could have had permanent damage or if left on counter in ‘keep warm’ mode, who knows what could have happened! Very scary. And no response from CS is a big red flag! Avoid!!! Final Update 5/24: After not hearing from Farberware CS i purchases a compatible cord. It was a better cord since the wires were one piece and was actually molded into the plug. All worked well for about 3 weeks until the percolator stopped working altogether. There was a burning smell and then it stopped functioning. Between the original cord being downright dangerous, customer service being terrible, and now the product not working at all after a mere 8 months. I double down on my DO NOT BUY! AVOID AT YOUR OWN PERIL!

Very good percolator!
12-cup Stainless Steel Farberware percolator: This percolator is attractive, brews good coffee quickly, doesn't leak, and most importantly, seems to be non toxic. I’ve had it for 18 months, and it works great. It took a couple of times to adjust the amount of coffee needed compared to a drip coffee maker, but it has been reliable, and I feel much safer drinking coffee that hasn’t had contact with plastic.

Non-toxic, delicious cup of coffee
I bought this percolator after learning about microplastics and how they leach toxic chemicals into water, food, and air, especially when in contact with hot liquid. The hot water comes in contact with the metal only, making it safe and delicious cup of coffee. The percolator makes a smooth, delicious cup of coffee. Far superior to a standard coffee pot or K-Cup coffee maker. Additionally, it's easy to use. Assembly is a snap, and it takes approximately 5 minutes to percolate. Once it's done, it switches to a warm setting, keeping the coffee hot as long as you need. Clean up takes about 4-5 minutes, and I let it air dry on our drying mat. The marks for the number of cups are on the inside, which are easy to see. I read a few reviews complaining about this feature, but it's plainly visible inside the pot as you fill it with water. I also read a few critiques about the pot not signaling when it's done brewing, but you can hear it switch from percolating to warming. One important feature to note, the coffee comes out very hot. Hotter than a standard coffee pot, so I pour a full cup immediately after percolation is complete and let it sit for 3-4 minutes to cool a bit. This coffee pot is one of the best I've used, and it's toxin-free! The price is comparable to a good, standard coffee pot, and I highly recommend it for a smooth, delicious, toxin-free cup of coffee.

Save and help someone else.
It's less expensive to buy an item in very good condition. My coffee maker was perfect.

Weak coffee
We have bought 5 of these pots over the last 3 years. One of the last 3 pots had a cord issue and quit working. The last 2 pots are horrible. The pot doesn’t percolate long enough and the coffee is super weak. I’m not sure what has happened but I will go with another brand.
