Great guide book of Oman
Great guide book of Oman. Lots of good information on places to check out and great at providing the history on the areas.

Think of it as a primer for a primer
Good stuff, but a little thin on beta. Definitely the 30,000' view. Best get a real travel book if you plan on actually getting off the plane.

Excellent. I have just come back and found it really very informative.Could not have survived without it.It was spot on

Sorely Outdated Edition
This edition is outdated and I would not recommend buying it. I tried using it during a recent Oman trip—generally useless.

There is not a lot of good travel information about Oman, and this is a good, basic book. Could use more detail and updating.
