I had a co-worker tell me about humidifiers that used water bottles and I was like, wow, I need to check that out! I researched several models on Amazon and read lots of reviews. I am happy with my choice on this model. When it first came, I had a really hard time pushing the adaptor into the top of the water bottle and was afraid that I didn't have the right kind of water bottle. I was using a 16.9 oz water bottle. After pushing with all of my strength straight down on the adaptor, it fit snug into the bottle. After that first time of struggle, I had no further issues and am able to push the adaptor in with less pressure. The reviews are right that if you set the dial past the half way point, it will last only 6-8 hours, maybe less depending on how high you turn it. The first night, I think I had the dial just shy of 3/4 of the way to the fullest setting. I would say it lasted only 6-7 hours. The next night, I set the dial closer to half way and it lasted closer to 8-9 hours. I feel that at half way or just a pinch past on the dial offers sufficient mist. It also will last a little longer if you use a 20 oz water bottle as well. I was so please with the first purchase, that I actually purchased another unit about a week later. After using that one for about 2 or 3 nights, it suddenly stopped working. Had no power. I used the plug from my other unit and it worked, so I knew I had a faulty plug. I called the customer service number for Perfect Aire and within a few moments of conversation, the customer service rep was telling me they would send out a new plug. I received it in the mail in a few days. Very satisfied with their customer service. Whether you plan to use this unit for home, work, or travel, I would definitely recommend it. And yes, the unit does turn off when the water is empty and the indicator light on the front is a bit bright at night. I placed a piece of electrical tape over it and problem solved.

Ordered it and took it to Las Vegas for a week. Solid performance and for me it was a game changer. Woke up without a dry nose/throat every morning. Now a few pointers: When you select a water bottle to go with this don't get an ultra cheap bottle that crumbles easily. A water bottle that is made of better plastic will work way better when you insert the plastic adapter/valve. Another observation is that if you use it on a night stand next to... Keep the dial on its lowest setting so your water bottle lasts longer before needing to refill it.

DO NOT BUY! Unfortunately this worked for less than 5 minutes. During the 5 minutes when it did work the mist did not travel. The fan is very weak and blew the mist less than 6 inches in the air. I had another fan to help blow the mist around but again because the mist barely came out it was pointless. Once it stopped working (I believe because the nozzle was not able to regulate the amount of liquid going into the tank) it never worked again. I tried emptying the tank and starting fresh but was unable to get a mist to come out. Very frustrating. Waste of money!

I’ve noticed that the power adapter for the 2025 version becomes extremely hot after about two hours of use. I would appreciate it if you could look into this and consider developing a more efficient or better-insulated version for future releases.

Great for you bedside or if your sitting in chair.

First ordered didn't work so i exchanged and second one didn't work at first but started up after a few trys. Its a sensitive little machine. When it works its good for small area. I literally have it on my dresser blowing down at bed. It last about 6 hrs on lowest setting. Noise isn't to bad, it will shut off when water in bottle is gone.

This humidifier is amazing, I have had two now for several years, its nice to just put a bottle of water on it and no mess.

Easy to clean, great little humidifier. Great deal for the price.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT. I set up this unit and it leaked only to discover that I didn’t have it put together right (so they said). Now, I find that the adjustable mist flow does not work. It provides only a high mist output (will not work on low setting) which uses a 710 ml bottle of water in a short period of time. I use distilled water and can foresee a great expense using this item. NOW THIS UNIT LEAKED ALL OVER MY DESK AND FLOOR and I have damage. WHO pays for this damage????? Do not purchase this item.
