2000W Transformer

I bought this for use in the Caribbean, and I waited a long time to write this review to ensure I had used it for long enough. I am so impressed with it, I purchased a spare cable for it for 110v and ran my kitchen appliances on it, also some hand sanders, hair dryers etc. As long as the item was under 3000 there was no issue with it working. I kept my kettle plugged into it and that was in use daily for over 2 years. As long as you turn it off before you plug/unplug things, and not load up each outlet and run them at once this should last an incredibly long time. I have since donated it to a pet clinic and they are running some things off of it with no issues, and it has held up under very humid conditions. I did keep it covered with a tea towel when not in use, just to keep additional moisture and dust out of the components. I would absolutely buy this again if required. Worth every penny.

It worked for a few minutes. Then, there was no power, and stopped working. Expensive product, but of no use. We have returned it to Amazon.

Nice solid build, with a heavy metal case held together with screws and not glue or anything. The earth connections work (tested), the main switch isolates the live side of the input, and it has a 4A fuse (though no thermal cutout). So all in all it looks well made as far as I can see. It runs cool and quiet - measured about 96% efficiency at 170W. By the way, it's an autotransformer with common earth and neutral, if that's of interest to anyone.

Very happy, useful for my gigs, it keep all my music gear safe. A bit heavy, but relatively small. Recommended piece especially if your main musician work is on ships where the voltage is never steady.

Perfect and easy to use as I don’t usually deal with this sort of thing but Husband not able and I found it easy.

It was blowing plug fuses and getting hot but I later realised it weren't powerful enough. I was ignorant as what was required and why. My new induction Wok required to draw a maxim of 1500W power and now I know the step down transformer needed to be over that figure. I ended up getting a 3rd 2000W transformer to cover it. Expensive ignorant mistake on my part. I'm sure this one is perfectly fine.

استخدمته لمكيننة القهوه الامريكيه ١١٠ فولت ،١٧٠٠ واط ولكن يفصل ٥ الى ٦ مرات من الفيوزات واعيد تشغيله حتى انتهي من عمل القهوه، ..لا انصح به لتشغيل جهاز قوته ١٧٠٠ واط لانه لا يدعم ٢٠٠٠ واط كما في الوصف
