Love all the pockets
This is a perfect Jacket for storing items while wearing it. It has plenty of pockets with zippers both outside and inside side the jacket which allows for safe keeping in crowded areas, or just things falling out. I have had it for over a year and it seems pretty sturdy as well, with no rips or zippers that get stuck. I would say it almost has too many pockets, but for me that is better than not enough. It felt like a risk buying a jacket without trying it on, but I am glad I did. The medium version pretty much was the same size as any medium jacket which is good.

DH loves it, but it is overpriced
Although in my opinion the jacket is overpriced, my DH loves this jacket for the many assorted pockets and the neat fit. It is advertised with a lot of hype but do not expect anything but the plainest and most basic of stitching and details in the cuffs, collar and seams, or you will be disappointed. I am giving it 4 stars for the utility/versatility, and it is a good choice for travel as it keeps off the wind/rain, is easily compacted when not in use, and is plain and inconspicuous.

So many pockets
This is like wearing another piece of luggage. I bought a larger size than I needed to layer a sweater or sweatshirt underneath for colder weather. I think I need more practice with balancing out the weight in the pockets. It has tons of capacity. If you load it up it does get bulky and heavy quickly. If you’re trying to fly with no bags, this would work if you planned accordingly. Worked well as a windbreaker walking around on a trip last fall. Haven’t tried it out in rainy weather or snow yet so I’m not sure if waterproof. I’m a lady with broader shoulders and a bigger chest so I opted for the men’s jacket. This fits me pretty comfortably. Go by the measurements in the size chart.

With purse snatching and pickpocketing on the rise, it's great to be able to dispense with my purse.
I recently bought the Cobalt blue pack windbreaker, in the men size medium because it's not as form fitting as the woman's version and that allows more space for storage without looking lumpy. It's very well constructed, and the fabric is high quality. I use the pockets in lieu of a purse. My first purchase was a red trenchcoat in ladies' size large, when it was marked down in price. It's sharp looking and has all the pockets. And I like it a lot. The only thing I wish was different is the fabric. It seems to wrinkle more easily than fabric for most coats. And my second purchase was a black hoodie. I purchased the men's small first, and it fit, but I felt like I needed more room for my stuff, so I exchanged it for a men's size medium. I ordered black because it goes with everything. I wear this a lot, and keep my stuff in it just like I would in a purse. During the cold weather, I wear this under a coat. The only thing wrong is that somebody goofed up and apparently sewed a large or extra large sleeve on the left side. When I hold my arms out to the side I can tell it's much wider under the arm than the other sleeve. I didn't realize it right away and when I did, the return window was over, so I've taken it up in places to make the one arm the same size as the other arm. I don't think this happens much, but you might want to inspect when you first receive your garment. I highly recommend Scottevest clothing, as you've probably figured out by the fact that I own three Scottevest garments.

Over-engineered past the point of being real world useful.
This thing is strange and awkward to use. It does weight balance itself pretty good, that’s the most positive part of the whole product IMO. I am going to keep it because it’s still better than a regular jacket but it’s so over-engineered that most of the “features” are straight up useless; very little of what it contains and advertises itself to fix is actually useful in real life. I leave for a year of full time completely around the world travel in 5 days or I’d probably return it. It says “rain resistant” and not “rain proof” and if I get soaked wearing it then it’s going into the trash in some foreign country (which is what I am assuming is its future fate). I already own an older Scottevest vest that was gifted to me and it’s better than this windbreaker but still has many, many pockets and aspects that I’ve never used (and wished were gone so I wouldn’t have to be scratched/skin irritated by them). I also own an older pair of pants that I had zippers sown into the pockets of (should have came standard IMO) but the belt loops are so small and narrow that only a extra skinny dress belt will fit through. So many strange design choices in these products, lots of wasted time and money on my part. Unless you have 1 each of the strangely shaped items that go into 1 each of the completely different shaped pockets then I’d probably pass on this jacket. I really think I should personally design a simple pickpocket proof jacket and pants that are actually made for real travelers who are trying to stay safe and carry extra real-life items versus trying to be so James Bond over the top. Also the hood on the windbreaker completely covers my eyes and almost my whole nose when I wear it, it’s wayyyy to long across the front/face. The rest of the fit is fine (I got a large and I am 5’9” 165 pounds). My wife has XXL long hair and when her hair is in a large bun then the hood fits her head almost correctly. If you put on a baseball hat (which I never wear) then the hood cinches down around the hat brim and is useable but again only if you’re wearing a baseball cap.

Excellent traveling jacket
Excellent fit and finish. So many pockets. Was able to carry so many extras on plane and they all had easy access. Places for wallet and passport that were hidden but still easy to access. Could cary a camera, bottle of water, phone, wallet, sunscreen, etc. while out on tours. Also the jacket was water repellent for a few short cloudbursts that snuck up on us. Would recommend to anyone traveling.

Perfect Jacket for my husband
I gave this jacket to my husband as a Christmas gift hoping and praying it would fit. He is not easy to please but when he saw it had 19 hidden pockets he searched for every one of them and loved the fact his wallet, keys and phone would no longer drag his jeans down. He tried it on and the sleeves were the right length as well as the zipper front fit his chest and waistline. He loves that it is light weight but also warm and it is his every day go-to jacket. If you are considering buying it we highly recommend it.

uniquely suitable for purpose
An exhaustive search proved that there's nothing else available with the capacity to hold all of the items that have to be separated from cabin luggage for airport security. It's also very suitable for a warm climate and looks smart. Expensive, but worth buying.
