Great texture and freshness,I added a sprinkle of celtec sea salt and the flavor exploded.

This is an OK product and is a good value for the money. You will need accessories for this. I wanted to eat it with crackers and this, being a salty product, I wanted salt-free crackers which I found hard to find at my local supermarket. So, if you order this from Amazon, you may want to order some salt-free crackers at the same time. This product works very well in omlettes; it gives you that salty experience that you might get from bacon along with a taste of the sea. Also good on bagels with either cream cheese or humus -- and cilantro if you are so inclined. The only issue I have is that when it was delivered it was almost warm: there were a couple of ice packs included, but they had thawed. If you want to order this, consider ordering it in the colder months. I would order again; but perhaps next time I will try the red version.

We have been ordering lumpfish caviar from you for many years and have always been happy with what we get. However, this last shipment was just not fresh and it tastes "funny". Unlike previous shipments, it arrived warm. We immediately chilled it but upon the first taste we decided it really is no longer edible. I know we can't return the product but I hope we can get a replacement. We love Agustson Lumpfish Caviar and we hope to continue ordering this same product. The previous order was truly delicious, a stark difference from this last one we got. Thank you. We hope to hear back from you.

I am very fond of "flying fish egg caviar" the baluga real stuff is so far from my means to endulge in that I don't even think about it anymore! However this brand gives me the all the joy and luxury that I need to feel that "I am special" I used to live on the west coast and enjoyed dungeness crab off "the warf" fried calamari, and having little caviar canapes, ( little rounds of Fresh sour dough smeared with cream cheese and topped with a dolope of caviar) this is decades ago, but never forgotten!! Now I have a toasted "salt bagel" smeared with cream cheese and "lathered thick" with this "caviar", I have this and a cup of "fog cutter" latte!! Not exactly the same but I feel like a million bucks😍!!! It is a luxury that I can afford, that San Francisco is gone but the memories are cherished!! This is a nice, flavorful, affordable caviar, it isn't Baluga, but it's a good represent ation😊!! Don't discount the value of memories and a "good product" I have bought this over and over and will continue!!!

Could only impress those who haven’t tried real sturgeon caviar. Honestly, even the pike eggs taste better. I guess it is the fish fault, packing is good, you can see manufacturer has tried their best.

I ordered this the first week of August, probably not the best time. It arrived here 2 days after shipping and opened within minutes of delivery. It was well packed in a box with a silver bubble wrap bag inside with 2 cold packs. Both were fully melted upon arrival and at (or very near, I did not put a thermometer on them) ambient temperature. Shipped via fedex. The roe tasted and smelled very fishy. Might try again in cooler weather.
