It’s cool and stays put.

I wear this while doing yard work and landscaping. Paired with a sweatband, sweat goes through the brim and drips away from my face/glasses. It lets me work for a lot longer because I'm not constantly wiping my face and cleaning my glasses. I really like how the medium fits exactly as suggested. It sits around my head instead of resting on top. This let's the mesh top do its thing and let heat out and a breeze in. It looks good, I guess. I didn't buy it for style. I think it would look tacky if you were trying to pull off some kind of fashion choice. The decorative braid is glued on, but hasn't come off of mine. The texture of the brim easily comes off/gets damaged. Of course, I've abused this hat pretty bad.

After searching many hats and finally taking a chance on this one, I realized I made the correct choice. It fits and looks great, quality construction also. I soaked it in water and it works great to keep you cool. I’ve received compliments from other people also on the look. It’s definitely worth the money of only $39.00. I’m surprised that’s all it cost for the quality.

I am a big man with a size 7 3/4 cap, and I'm not as comfortable in the hot sun anymore. I needed a hat that would fit my big head, keep me cool, and at a reasonable price. This Dorfman hat exceeds on all levels! I ordered the size XXL and it fit me perfect no adjusting needed. This hat throws some great shade, at a relatively light weight, and the ventilation was outstanding! Why did it take me this long to discover this hat? Happy customer here!

I LOVE this hat! As a guy who has never really worn any hats besides baseball caps, I didn't know if I would wear a hat this style so much. But needing to shade my bald spot and neck during a beach vacation with lots of beach time, fishing, and boating, I can honestly say this is my new favorite hat. The venting made it super cool, and the band really does cool when wet. Dunked it countless times in the pool or ocean when I needed a little blast of cool. Looks awesome, and still looks brand new after a week of sweating, sunscreen, saltwater, and pool water. I didn't have a problem with shipping crushing it, took its shape with no problem. Best of all, it comes in a XXL which for my large head fit perfect, and made it so much more comfortable. So many hats I have tried look like they sit on top of my head, but this fits perfect.

While I truly appreciate the XXXL was large enough, I was not thrilled with the non-mesh material on the brim and on top. It is nice enough, but only for very casual wear at home. Very cool for hot days. I was not pleased with the fact it is really wrinkled from shipping, so I put a towel in it and blew the hair dryer to try to release folds from shipping without support enough. It got better, but still folded. I have purchased another more quality material for going out. Do know this is a nicely styled hat and many would find it to be great and fine. I am picky.

Easy to keep cool, fits really well for my larger size head. Incidentally offers excellent fly fishing protection. Hooks bounce off the brim very nicely. I was fly fishing for pike in the Yukon and not used to large heavy flies and was very grateful when a couple of them bounced off the brim of this hat instead of latching onto my scalp.
