So good I ordered more. Goes great over rice or quinoa. Mildly spicy with just the right amount of kick. Heats quickly, very easy to prepare. The lentil have bite, not mushy and good quality for the money

I have tried many of these kind of Indian food in pouches, and this one is my absolute favorite. Very tasty and very easy to heat and eat. I like mixing with a pouch of basmati rice.

I've had this dish fresh once before a long time ago so when I saw this quick and easy premade version I wanted to try it. It's really tasty, easy to just use this and some rice for a quick lunch! I wish there was more in the bag though, it's a little pricey for how much you get.

I have had other ready-to-eat Indian pouch meals before, from other brands, and even though I haven't always loved the lentil ones I was intrigued by this flavor combination. It was amazing. The flavor is amazing, the texture is hearty and just the right amount of thickness, the spicing is robust with just a touch of heat, but still gentle enough for my sensitive stomach. You're supposed to heat it up before eating it, but I can tell you that it's also delicious cold too. Even eating it straight out of the pouch as I later did on a camping trip. This immediately became one of my must-have pantry staples. I have never bothered adding rice; if you eat it on its own, one pouch is the perfect amount for a one-person meal. But I think it would go well with rice, if you wanted to stretch it further or just prefer it that way. A perfect comfort food.

When i first started buying this it was a thick and rich dal. The last two times i've purchased this item it has been watery with very little flavor. They must've added water to save/make money. So disappointing.

As someone who wants to try new foods, but not break the bank, this was an amazing find! I had never had Dal before, but I love Butternut Squash so I decided to try it. Has a nice earthy flavore - not too sweet, not too spicy. Easy to heat up, leftovers the next day were good as well. Good protein / filling for a plant based meal. I will be getting this again and trying more things from this brand!

I had never tried this before and oh my god.It was so good! Yes, I would recommend it to anyone.If you haven't tried this product yet, try it. Typically eating beans of any kind, causes stomach pain for me and eating this.I felt wonderful afterwards
