Have no idea how long it will work but the chain connecting the valve and the handle broke. I repaired it at least two times with iron wire that I had available. Rusted and broke both times. I decided to try stainless steel. Hope it works. It came well packaged, bendable, but not too loose. Sturdy for the gauge and seemed to be a quality product. If it lasts longer than two years, I’ll definitely call it a win.

Bought this at 17 gauge size to twist into hook-eye style objects that I could use in necklace making, and for that it has really worked well. Zero complaints about durability or material. It also comes with a good amout.amount. just generally good quality material.

This is just what I needed for a peculiar project. It is strong but easy to work with. I bought it for one particular use but I expect I'll use what's left for innumerable other tasks.

Wire was of so so esthetics. It was durable as described, it served its function, however, the look was not as what is shown in the photo. The wire that arrived was nowhere near this shiny. More of a dull finish.

Very stiff and not easy to bend and the color is gray not silver. Looks very tarnished unfortunately. I still use it to function as a post/base for accessories but as for wrapping, I will be trying something else

Ich habe diesen 18 Gauge (1 mm) Edelstahldraht für die Schmuckherstellung gekauft und verwende ihn hauptsächlich zur Anfertigung von Biegeringen. Daraus habe ich unter anderem ein Armband gefertigt, das ich dauerhaft trage – Tag und Nacht, auch bei regelmäßigem Kontakt mit Wasser. Der Draht ist formstabil und hält Belastung zuverlässig aus, lässt sich mit geeignetem Werkzeug aber dennoch gut verarbeiten. Zum Schneiden wird eine kräftige Zange benötigt, was für die Materialqualität spricht und bei dieser Drahtstärke zu erwarten ist. Die gefertigten Biegeringe behalten ihre runde Form, geben nicht nach und verziehen sich auch bei täglicher Bewegung nicht. Trotz dauerhaftem Tragen und Wasserkontakt sind bisher keine Verfärbungen oder Materialveränderungen aufgetreten. Die Drahtmenge ist großzügig, sodass sich damit problemlos mehrere Schmuckstücke herstellen lassen. Für alle, die regelmäßig Schmuck anfertigen, ergibt sich ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Fazit: Ein hochwertiger Edelstahldraht für die Schmuckherstellung, besonders geeignet für Biegeringe und langlebige, alltagstaugliche Schmuckstücke. Durch die Materialfestigkeit eher für Arbeiten mit passendem Werkzeug gedacht, dafür langfristig zuverlässig.
