I am a cosmetic snob and I’ve used SK** pitera essence in my late 20’s. I loved how the fermented rice in the product worked so well with my skin, but obviously didn’t love the price of it. Way too expensive! After finishing a whole bottle, I felt it worked but I really wanted a better option ingredient wise and the price was just insane. Also thinking some of their ingredients wouldn’t work well with my sensitive skin in the long term use, I stopped using SK**. Yes, I am the crazy lady who goes through all the ingredients list to make sure I know what I put on my skin. So when HaruHaru came out with this Black Rice line, I was thrilled! Even though it is very similar essence like toner as SK**, derived from fermented rice, I find Haruharu’s ingredients are much healthier option and obviously you just cannot beat the price! Also, the smell, I really couldn’t stand the weird smell of SK**, but haruharu wonder toner carries light scent of wonderful natural lavender just like their black rice oil. It’s subtle, and not too overpowering, just enough to make me feel pampered and relaxed. It’s not like crazy dizzy strong fake lavender-like fragrance. This is my third purchase in one month to give as gifts to my dear friends because it is that good!! I bought the other two in Korea, and thank you Amazon for carrying it now! The bottle is huge with generous amount of product, I use it as a toner, essence, and sometimes, i put plenty of the toner on cotton pads and leave it on for 5-10mins to use it as face soothing mask when I my skin needs mini spa time. From product to packaging, this toner is very luxurious treat for my skin and far better option than SK**. Who would not love such a well-made product that is reasonably priced?!

One of the must-have toners I use daily to hydrate my skin, both day and night, after double cleansing and before applying light lotion. I have mature and breakout-prone skin, even my teenage niece is using it. Highly recommended.

I wanted to like this toner, but the scent is overwhelming and it slightly irritates my skin. I didn't think I had sensitive skin, but it doesn't like this product. I see now they sell an unscented version, which I would recommend over this one if you don't like super fragranced products. The smell is super strong. I will use it up on the rest of my body but not my face due to the irritation but will not repurchase. Too many other amazing products out there. Edit: I kept using it on my face (lol) and haven't had the redness issue again. Maybe it was just a coincidence. It feels nice and hydrating, but I'll try the unscented one next time for sure.

This toner is absolutely amazing. It feels so lightweight and refreshing on my skin while still being deeply hydrating. Très bon produit. Odeur pas trop forte, bien absorbé par ma peau et resserre mes pores. Une semaine d'utilisation et j'ai l'impression que ma peau est un peu plus lisse (mais je fais une routine complète coréenne). Très bien noté sur Yuka 😊

Questo tonico è pazzesco, sto acquistando vari prodotti coreani , mi sto trovando molto bene , ma nello specifico lui lo adoro , per la profumazione avvolgente e delicata e per come lascia la pelle, fresca tonica e super idratata , io non usavo più il tonico perché ho una pelle delicata sempre secca e disidratata , con questo tonico invece sento la pelle idratata tutto il giorno ma ben tonica e liscia. Per me' è perfetto (io ho una pelle matura , 53 anni)
