I feel really curious and glad I tried this bitter tea after reading about its natural plant!
I decided to try this herbal tea after my friend told me how amazing this herb was for him. I spent some time reading about it, and honestly, the more I learned, the more curious I became about how something so simple could be so traditionally used. Before trying it, I looked into Hercampuri and found that it comes from a plant called Gentianella alborosea, which grows in high altitude regions of Peru. That alone already gave it a strong sense of origin and tradition. I read that it has been used in herbal practices connected to cleansing and general internal balance, especially in traditional wellness approaches. What really caught my attention was the idea that it is used as a bitter herbal infusion. I went deeper into what โbitter herbsโ usually mean in traditional use and found that they are often associated with digestive support and natural balance rituals in different cultures. That made the experience feel more intentional rather than just another herbal drink. When I prepared it for the first time, the aroma was very natural and earthy. The taste is definitely not sweet or mild, it is strong and bitter in a very direct way. It took me a moment to adjust to it, but I started to understand why it is traditionally consumed in small amounts. I used it in a calm moment during the day, not rushed, just sitting with it. That made a difference because it feels more like a ritual than something casual. Over time, I started appreciating that intensity because it feels very authentic to the plant itself. From a personal perspective, I felt like it gave me a sense of resetting my day when I included it in my routine, like a grounding moment that felt connected to something natural and traditional. One thing I really appreciate is that it is just dried leaves, nothing added, no extras, no flavoring. It feels very pure in that sense. I always like products that keep things simple because it makes the experience feel more honest. There are a couple of things I would improve. The bitterness is quite strong, so it would help to have more preparation guidance on how long to steep it depending on preference. Also, a small suggestion would be including more background information on traditional usage directly on the packaging, because I had to look everything up online. Even with those points, I feel very glad I tried it. It is not something casual, but it feels like a real herbal experience rooted in tradition and plant simplicity. Highly recommended!

Very Good Peruvian Herb
I drink this tea regularly. It has some very noticeable health improvements and overall a good healthy feeling. It has a bitter taste but is palpable with sweeting it and adding fresh lemon juice.
