Style Edit Root Touch Up Spray, Medium Brown, 2 oz

I really like this stuff. It matches and blends with my hair color perfectly. I dye my hair pretty dark brown and have so many gray hairs, mostly around my hairline. Since I hate doing my hair, it gets put up in a pony tail or bun most days which, unfortunately, also exposes my gray hairs. Mine are really thick and stick up too, making them that much more obvious. I plan to update with pictures, but I'm on here to order my 2nd can so I thought I'd update with a review while I was at it. I plan to keep on at home, one in my car and one at work. Seriously, I'm busy and forget to do this some days or plans come up unexpectedly and this is so quick and easy to apply that I don't need to be at home to do it. All you need is a mirror and something to block your skin (whether that be your hand/fingers if you have a sink to wash them afterwards - it washes right off!, or a disposable glove or even maybe just a piece of paper/bathroom paper towel if you're in a pinch and on the road with no sink available to you). You get used to how much pressure to apply, just like learning how to drive a clutch ;). You can spray further away and get a light mist or spray closer and more concentrated depending on your needs. I like to get about 1-2 inches away from my hair and spray. If you spray too heavily, just quickly use your fingers or a paper towel to rub it all around. I've never felt that this has made my hair look unnatural. If you've ever used dry shampoo, it sort of leaves this sort of feel in your hair...not silky smooth and just a little textured but it really shouldn't be a problem if you're only touching up your roots as this isn't intended to cover your whole head of hair from root to tip anyways. I feel like my hair grows really fast, I can dye my hair and in 19 days I can fully see new stubborn thick gray hairs sprouting up to the point where they can't be ignored. I simply can't afford to even dye my hair at home that often, much less all the time and energy it takes. This has given me confidence on days when I cared to hide them while I was in between dye jobs. I love it. Thank you!

This product is a life saver. I bought for two of my sister to introduce them to my life saver. You will likely have to order a shade of one and a shade of another to see what you life best. I keep one in my car, one in my purse, one at home and always have one new back up. I have horrible gray resistant hair. When I see my coloring has not taken on my hair I am able to use this and it looks blended. I use it for new roots to last long between coloring. I use it on spots color is fading. I do my hair then I spray any spot that needs a quick gray cover up. If you scratch your head it will rub off on fingers but washes right off. Does not come off on pillow while sleeping if you skipped a hair washing. It will was right out when you wash your hair. It takes a little practice to spray almost pushing down very slowly works better so you dont get a quick burst of spray. If you spray to much or you are really pushing your coloring longer then normal it sometimes looks a little almost to light for the color it normally does. Maybe like a non shinny color but still worth buying. When I spray to much I just add a little water to my finger tips and kinda go over the spot I dont like and it does the trick. If your always still have gray after a coloring or you have fast growing hair or you are trying to delay the chemicals to your hair then this is really great and you will be happy you bought! My one sister who has never colored her hair loves it because she does the same styles it then sprays it on the sneaky grays starting to pop up on her and love the product too!! My other sister who has her hair colored like clock work every 6wks and get just a root touch up every third week had little need for it but when her colorist is away or had been sick she used it and thought it did the trick for her. You cant do your whole head because it does not have a shine to it. But you can do lots and with your other non sprayed hair it blends well enough for no one to have any idea of your big little secret!!

Easy to use and does what it is recommended for

It’s great for thinning hair, covers the scalp well, looks natural. Note that it washes out so must be reapplied at every washing. Product I believe is over priced so this could get expensive. I still buy it so serves me well.

I really like this brand,it covers well and doesn’t rub off as easily as other products. However, with the price difference, I think I’ll really consider the other.

I have my grays colored professionally every 3.5 -4 weeks. I have thick but very fine medium to dark brown hair. I had been trying several products to disguise my outgrowth in that last week and a half. It took me a little while to get the hang of how to use it and the first few times when I used it around my face, where I notice my grays first, I would end up getting some on my skin and have to use a q-tip to carefully "edit" that. It has a very narrow tube that the spray comes out of, so you can direct the color to a specific place. I find it especially useful to cover the grey at my part, and it looks very natural. That said, it does slightly dull the shine slightly in that area, but not enough that I am bothered by it. The benefits far outweigh that one con. I don't find that it weighs down my hair and it seems to take so little to make enough of a difference to soften that harsh gray outgrowth. I purchased this product in the light brown color, not the dark brown, even though my hair is fairly dark. I am so glad I did, as it appears much darker than I would expect for a spray labeled "light" brown. I will definitely be purchasing again. I can highly recommend. Note that this is not a permanent dye. It does not come off on my clothes or other fabric after it is dry, but it can be washed out with shampoo.

This works better than L’Oréal and Trèsame but the price is ridiculous. In April, I paid $29.25 for the same 2 oz can that now, in August was listed at $33. But luckily, the company included a $6 coupon so I paid $27. That’s a good thing but not sure why it’s so expensive. The medium brown matches the rest of my hair perfectly and my white roots become invisible once sprayed. I like it and will continue to use it…unless Joico starts making their spray again; I’ll have to go back to Joico if that happens, and they were at least $10 cheaper. But in the meanwhile, this spray works. As with any root spray, you can’t run your fingers through your hair while wearing it. And it stays in until washed out. I’ve never had it rub off on my bedding.

This doesn’t new Punjab is covering up his roof, but not coloring your scalp or your part.

This grey concealer is the absolute best on the market! I have used many others and this product does the two most important things perfectly: 1) conceals grey discreetly 2) does not transfer (for example to your sheets, to your hat, to your pillow...) Love it and love the customer service from Larkin Supply - outstanding!
