Perfect hot sauce imo
Got Crystal hot sauce in process of trying to recreate a subspecies of Chef Helene An‘s SanFrancisco garlic noodles known as Ester’s World Famous Garlic Noodles, which was served at a previous incarnation of the Fireside Lounge. The claim is that Crystal Hot sauce is the only brand used to season noodles after they have been served. I’m lucky to have recalled that because this is a bright, perfectly balanced condiment also seems to have more complex (peppery) flavor profile than similar types of hot sauces. Others range from hot vinegar to bland & flat. The taste is so appealing I will probably trim my hot sauce collection to just this one. Spice level is moderate imo, but you can enjoy flavor instead of being overwhelmed by painful tongue & breathing fire. I imagine this will do well on many types of potato home fries, liven up certain soups, and add a little something extra to tacos. The consistency/viscosity is fine-not too watery or nor too gloopy. The price is fine on Amazon but typically better in grocery stores: the trouble is that availabity varies by geographical region. So I will be ordering a much lager size next time. The high quality is worth the extra pennies. Shipment was fine-speedy, intact. The opening size of bottle allows for control of amount of sauce.

Where have you been all my life?
I live in the NE and never heard of this before, just the "I put that s*#& on everything" sauce. Friend from Florida turned me onto it. And I'm glad he did. This stuff is awesome on pretty much everything. Hot but not overwhelming, with a touch of sweetness undertone.

A taste of New Orleans flavor
Delicious and mildly hot. This sauce is flavorful and slightly spicy. I first tasted it in New Orleans and I have ordered it for the last 3 years.
