DCDPBM Billy Martin Loops from the Underground DrummerPack

Billy Martin is one of my if not my favorite Drummer for the last 5 plus years. So when I saw this loop pack I ordered it immediately. Without reading the fine print ONLY WORKS WITH DRUMCORE which is another $200. I'm holding onto this hoping to find a discounted Drumcore out there so I can actually use these loops and instrument packs. If you do not own Drumcore 2.5 or higher DO NOT BUY. It's not compatible with any other software.

I purchased this to fill out my DrumCore content with some more interesting/unorthodox drum sounds. Specifically, I was looking for something a little less pristine, a little more "trashy" than the default rock material - and this is great! The kits have some really interesting kick and snare sounds, and the content covers everything from complex polyrhythmic stuff to straight ahead rock made a little quirky by the nature of the kit sounds. The recording is pristine, but in the sense that it perfectly captures the useful weirdness of the kit - not pristine in a slick or overprocessed way. Really looking forward to using these sounds in my next batch of instrumentals!

Fantastic library of dense, interesting, and extremely useful performances. The collection really captures Billy's unique sound and style. The audio loops work seamlessly in a slice and dice drum comp track, and sound even better when you mangle them with FX. Very useable in soundtrack creation as well when you're looking for something distinctive for your percussive underscore. So many possibilities in terms of music genres, from simple pop to the avant-garde.
