These gloves are great, able to handle very hot items and not feel it, and added flexibility of using the gloves to shredd pulled pork and move chicken or ribs in a smoker.

These things really can resist heat! I’ve put my entire family onto these. I’ll stick my hand on the grill in the fire and won’t feel it at all for a good 10 seconds. Great for me to carry around my hot iron skillet after grilling. 100% worth it.

I used for cleaning my blackstone griddle. The hot oil went thru to my skin. No burns but hot! Otherwise the gloves work great.

These fit well on my larger square hands, snug, not at all clumsy, and I'm able to reach into the oven and grasp the sides of the baking pans with no difficulty. Bought a French Door countertop to avoid reaching over the oven door, but found oven mitts too clumsy. These are perfect, well worth the small investment (history of burns). They look huge but are perfect on the INSIDE, and fit snugly without the bulk often associated with oven mitts. Got red because, well, red ... fire, but other colors available if you want to leave them on display. Material is fabulous, quality sublime, easy to use, would highly recommend, wish I'd known about them two burns ago.

Works as advertised. Find it very useful when moving charcoal with a tong inside the BBQ (Despite the tong, hands still get hot quickly due to close proximity to the burning coal). Also useful when emptying the chimney starter into the BBQ.

Well, no more burns thanks to these gloves—they withstand a lot of heat. I don't get burned anymore; honestly, they are very good—high quality—and I highly recommend them.

These are great...only problem is that I have fat fingers and they are snug.

Overall these are nice because they fit well on the hand. My only complaint is that I burned my hand taking a hot dish out of the oven because of some bare spots on the gloves that don’t have the red heat protection. I still use them but I’m careful where I grab the pans.

I've had these for two months and they work great. They're comfortable, flexible, and insulates very well. They're as advertised. I like the long forearm coverage for extra protection. I have very small hands so these are huge on. me but they still work really well.

Not sure how they came up with something as precise as 1473 F, but be that as it may, bottom line is that these gloves *do* seem to be quite heat resistant when dealing with very hot BBQ pans, grills etc. Fit well for me. Am reasonably happy with them. Little loop at the wrist so that they could be hanged up easily would have been icing on the cake!

These are great. They obviously work as advertised since I still have full use of my fingers and hands to write this review. If for some reason my dog eats them, someone steals them, or they somehow just fall apart after a few decades, I would absolutely buy them again. If they however catch fire or burn through at some point then I would probably hesitate to recommend them. That hasn't happened, so a 5* review and happy barbecue meat eater here. I wouldn't wear them to grab and flip burning logs in the fire pit, but for everyday barbecue use to protect the hair on your wrists and arms from burning or to grab stuff off the grill or move great chunks of meat around while cooking, they're awesome. Get some. Bare handed barbecuing is only novel for a little while. You won't lose man points if you wear some bbq gloves.

The gloves work great for oven or bbq work.! I’ve always hated the mitt types. Nice and long above the wrist so you don’t get oven burns in you wrists from the racks when reaching inside.
