So far it's been working great. VLF light is bright makes the end caps of the fiber glow making it easier to find in a bundle. OTDR feature is good enough. Results where not too far off when compared to a more expensive unit during short distances. Light meter function is better than my dedicated unit just on the fact that this has an internal battery, readings are similar to more expensive units. Ethernet cable tester also works with no issues.

For quick troubleshooting is good, not really for providing reports. I experienced a ghost trace a couple of times. Other then that it works pretty good

Does the job. It’s not a Fluke but it’s a nice cheap option to help me quickly verify my tips, splices or trouble shoot. Like most OTDRs not the easiest to use

OTDR, this unit is awesome. I do I&M and this is a fantastic tool to have. Unsure which port to use at an fdt, use the vfl and put your comfy shoes on and walk to the far end. I think not. I can pick not only the longest fiber but the one with the least loss. A recipe for success. I did have an issue with my original unit. The friends at YEDEMC promptly addressed my issue with a free direct return and a brand new unit. Completely satisfied. Thank you!

Hay algun tipo de mantenimiento para realizar al equipo. Ya que me ha estado fallando con la leyenda de “There are no events”. En funcion OTDR

Despues de varios meses funcionado todo a la perfecccion, ayer dejo de funcionar mi vlf de 10mw incorporado en el equipo, para mi es de vital importancia, espero que lo solucionen pronto...

I thought it didn't work at first on the otdr Port but it dose you just have to set it up right

Fonctionne vraiment bien pour le prix, me fait sauver énormément de temps sur un gros réseau de fibre et m'évite de caller toujours la compagnie qui fait l'entretien et qui souvent me bullshit. Je leur sors des rapports de pertes.. La seule chose négative est que les port vfl, otdr et opm aurait pu avoir des cap de protection pour la poussiere. indispensable pour sauver du temps. Avec ca, l'achat d'une couple d'adapteurs, un achat d'un lauch box cable 500M et l'achat un mircroscope 400X pour SC on est en voiture pour casser les fournisseurs.

OTDR function is not working. Tried several ways to contact the supplier for service but they do not reply. Don't by if you expect service.!

This is a really good tester for the price. Full of functionality. I would recommend
