I keep trying to order this but every time I try it keeps telling me there’s a problem with the item in my order and won’t let me proceed.

If you are based in the UK (and the knife is coming from the EU) some of the knives have a wierd lockout now in their security 'age' check and won't let you buy/get them shipped, but it doesn't tell you that in detail so all you get is the 'there is a problem' message.

Is this knife full tang?

No it isn’t, but I wouldn’t worry about that. Trust me, it’s practically indestructible. You’ll never break it unless you are doing something outrageously stupid with it.

How do you make the sheath horizontal, no use to me if you can't. The photos suggest that it is but I don't see how

Not really sure what you're asking, but if you mean: can the sheath be opened horizontally? - then, no. The knife is sheathed in the usual way, tip in first down to the hilt. If you mean: can you attach the sheath to something horizontally? Then yes, you could probably get this to work with the two straps at the back. It would depend what you're attaching it to and how, but yes, you could try.
