What is the best way to join the belt to give a secure loop, please?

If you need a continuous band you will need to buy that as it isn’t possible to form a loop using glue.

does anyone have the dimension of the screw?

It's a grub screw that fits completely in the motor pully, 2mm Allen key, screw is 4mmx4mm

What product is recommended for bonding the 2 ends together? I've tried super glue and it just pulls apart.

I used a rubber type glue (for bonding soles of shoes together) that seems to work ok
