A good investment for your plants
I was wary about buying these lights because they don't give the violet light that I am used to seeing. I already had a stand-up light that gave the violet light so I decided to take a gamble and purchased it. This was the same price as the stand-up (adjustable stand) one I bought, and pretty sturdy. 1. The arms are really sturdy and stay put in whatever position you adjust them to, rather than just flop down. 2. The clip is really firm, it takes a lot of strength to get the clip to open but that just means that it clamps on well. The padding also is a nice touch to ensure that it doesn't scratch whatever surface you decided to clamp them onto. 3. I was worried about my plants not being able to grow but I see a lot of growth. I am growing dahlia's and cape jasmine. When I got the cape jasmine, there were lots of buds but none had flowered. After some water and a day under the lamp, I got one flower, and then more opened up the following days. (It's been around 5 days). The reach is pretty good too as I have the plant around 3 ft away from the arms. The dahlias I had under a violet light but after getting this one, I moved it under my growing station to make room for other plants on top. After 5 days or so, you can see some growth has occurred. 4. The timer function is really nice and simple too. I set it to whatever time I want and then I don't have to worry about having to turn it on or off for the day. Over all, my experience is pretty good. 5. I read somewhere that the light itself (the led bulbs I suppose) can get hot but mine doesn't. There is some warmth to them but I can comfortably touch it without burning myself and I don't think it is giving excess heat to the plants. Overall, my experience with the lamp is really good.

Effectiveness
I bought this Grow light based on reviews and the features that it was promoting. I was interested in this product as the height was adjustable. One flaw is that depending on how you may position the light, it can tip over because of the weight distribution of that box where the 3 LED lights come out off. A good fix is to make the base weigh a little more. Anyways, it has 3 different light settings, and each color promotes different things such as Blue is for chlorophyll synthesis (pigmentation), Red is for germination and flowering, and Yellow enhances photosynthesis (conversion of Carbon Dioxide to Oxygen). The timer is a neat feature as well! Not only does it turn OFF after a certain period, but it also turns back ON by itself the next day at the same time you had it on the previous night. I own a FIG tree and an Orchid. Both plants are doing well. There are new leaves in my FIG and it's starting to bloom new flowers in my orchid. I was pretty sure my Orchid was about to die, who knew this light would turn things around! It's a good buy, I would recommend this! Attached are some before and after shots. Had the light for 6 months now. I would say this had helped my fiddle fig tree bloom. Had so many new leaves. My plant gets sunlight through the window during the day, and 3 hours of this light at night. Definitely a good addition to have!

My plants donโt know itโs winter!
Iโve been collecting plants for over four years now and unfortunately I donโt have good natural light. Inside my house the lights need to be on even on a very bright and sunny day. I love the high quality full spectrum light output. I did my research on this one. The light is yellow and not harsh to us humans but just what my plants need. Itโs the middle of winter and my plants donโt know it. They are constantly putting out new growth.. I have no problems with my colorful plants and Verigated PLANTS ๐ชด keeping their color. Iโve recommended this lamp to my other plant enthusiast friends and collectors. I purchased one in the fall and just came back and bought a second light. I will admit it is not the prettiest lights look at, but it does what he supposed to do without being annoying to my eyes.

My plants love this!!@
Works as described - easy to use and have the ability to adjust colors, timing and intensity. I have been using this product for a week. I will update this once I have used for a month or so and report back any changes in my plants. My house doesn't have a lot of natural light, and I have been struggling to keep my wonderful plants alive!

Adjustable LED lights for height and spread!!
Growing French Lavender, I use the Purple LEDs but the others work just aswell. The lights are perfectly adjustable to place over canopy and get great healthy looking leaves, very impressive best money ever spent on cheap gardening lights! Easy set up and the LED lights really keep my plants leaves looking healthy, this is really useful for adjusting light for plants and timers can be very useful for flowering plants. Whoever created this light is a Geniuses the LED lights are amazing and low cost!

Its ok; has a couple flaws
This works ok for giving light to my young lemon tree while it's kept inside from the harsh midwest winter. My plant had a brief 'shock' after being brought indoors, but after a few weeks, it's adjusted to this light and is flourishing. It loses stars because 1. it topples over easily due to the legs not being long enough to support the weight and positioning of the lights (major design flaw) and 2. for some reason it falls out of it's programmed timer routine. At odd times throughout the day it'll go off, and I have to restart a timer routine. This happens probably once per week. Not a major problem, but ya know.

Good lights for plants but cannot control with a smart plug
These are great little lights, I like that it can be usb powered, a bit light but ok to use inside. My plants liked these lights and reacted well to them. The only thing I struggle with is that because need to press on and off each time I cannot use these with a smart plug when Iโm not home because the ON button has to be manually pressed to turn the lights on.

The lights themselves are fine. My plants seem to like them. But there are two problems I've experienced after having this for several months. The first is that the tripod just isn't very stable. It'll stand fine on its own, but small bumps or jostles (such as a cat or a clumsy human bumping it) will cause it to fall over, quite possibly into your plants. The whole unit is very top-heavy, so I think if you could attach some kind of weight underneath the tripod that might solve the issue. Far worse is the timer. First - the system is off by default, and forgets its state and instructions when you power it off by unplugging it or otherwise turn off its source. This means that if you've attached it to a larger timer system, it won't work at all - each time your primary, external timer turns off, it forgets it was ever on, and needs to be manually turned on again once your primary timer turns back on. No biggy, I thought - I'll use the built in timer. Except the build in timer activates 17.5 minutes earlier ever day than the day before. Yes, I measured. That means that a timer I set to turn on at 6:00 AM was, in short order, turning on at 4:00 AM. Absolutely ludicrous. I ended up solving the problem by cracking open the control dongle, removing the microchip, and connecting the bare wires together inside the casing so that it's "always on" so long as power is running into it. That seemed to be the only way I could control it with my central, reliable smart socket timer, instead of relying on this hilariously inaccurate in-built system.
