it's very nice but also very smooth with no real gripping points but it functions to charge my phone. i will update my review in the future as functionality is better tested, it is a bit heavy but overall i think i like it*edit*the base where the contacts are (the charge port) can be a bit finicky and sometimes don't work but overall if you kind of shove it it tends to work but i do wish it were much stronger at the base as it's just a thin metal strip there*edit*it's one month later and it flickers on and off as if the contact is broken but i only ever use it as directed so the quality of the contact needs to be improved. if i only thought of this a few days sooner i would return it.

Battery case for IPhone 7 6000 mAh is not bad. A year later I am still using it. It got enough power to keep you going for a day or two. So you don’t have to desperately look for charging station. The problem is a connection inside getting disconnected and makes a beep sound. It is about every second. It is like on and off. So if you carrying in you pocket it will beep constantly. I usually just put phone on table or in the car so it will charge. Also just discovered if you squeeze phone next to main button it will charge continuously.

I've tried several battery cases for my iPhone 7 over the last couple of years. Most are low power, or too bulky, or don't use a lightning connector, etc. This case holds a huge charge, uses the lightning connector, really protects the phone, and is easy to use, and put the phone into/remove the phone. Love it!Update (2 months later): Yes, this case holds a better than average charge, and yes to all the things I mention above. BUT...the case broke today after less than 2 months of use. Turns out, it's a little wonky getting your phone in and out. If you don't do it just right the cases lightning connector to the phone bends and breaks off from the case. I'm sad, because I loved this case. Have to decide whether to order it again and be more careful, or start searching again for something new.

I bought this product to replace my Apple-produced iPhone 6s case and am pretty disappointed. When charger cord is plugged in, the connection does not seem solid, and the charging icon flips on and off every second, so it is not consistently charging. In addition, the measurement of battery percentage in the case does not show on the iPhone screen that way it did with the Apple product. Lights on the case supposedly show how charged the battery is, but I have only ever seen them on one configuration: 3 solid lights and 1 blinking light. But the biggest problem is that the case does not really seem to extend the power supply the way the Apple product did. The phone seems to hold a charge for about the same length of time as it would if it had no "charging" case. Unsatisfied with this product.

The battery on my previous phone case started to lose its charging power, so I purchased a new one and went with this product. The case has a nice smooth matte finish and looks great but it does seem to be heavier than the last product I had. Overall, my only complaint is that once I turn the case on to charge my phone it tends to lose connection and constantly switches back and forth between charging and not. Not sure if this is a frequent problem or isolated to a faulty case.

Pros: easy to put on, charges quick, holds a charge and does give my phone a full chargeCons: while charging my phone, it’s a constant state of “on and off”. So although it does eventually charge the phone, it’s extremely annoying and you cannot do anything on your phone while it’s charging since it will continually vibrate and alert you that it’s now charging or no longer charging

After a few months of use the charging port loosened and now has to be wiggled in order to charge the case and phone. Phone charges fine out of the case on the same cord. Also have audio trouble when I plug it into my car. Any movement of the wire disconnects audio.

The charger is on by default when you unplug the phone from outlet. If you forget to turn it off, you can lose some of the backup charge. This is not the case with other backup charge cases. Other than that, the construction is good. Quality seems fine. For the price, it is a fine product.
