This was the perfect replacement to my older dish drainer size wise.
This dish drainer replaced an old one that I had to have had for at least 15 -20 years. The old one had missing white plastic around the wires and rust formed on the wires from years of use. The new one was the same size and fit just right onto the drain pad underneath it. I looked everywhere online for an exact replacement and found a Rubbermaid unit with the same dimensions as to fit on the drain pad as not to get water dripping all over the kitchen sink counter. BTW the utensil holder is better than my older one. It's width is smaller and utensils stand up so that choosing the one you want is easier than my old holder where the utensils laid flat in a pile one on top of the other and you had to rummage around to find let's say a spoon when knives and forks were on top of them.

Great dish drainer!
I wanted to replace the one I already have. I think it's the best dish drainer. Rubbermaid always makes great products.

This is just perfect!
We had one of these that was really old and worn out, so I went to a big-box retailer to buy a replacement, but they no longer carry any that are coated like this one -- just stainless steel, which I don't like because it feels like it would be hard on the dishes. So I was really excited when I found this one here on Amazon. It's EXACTLY the same as the model we had previously. The old one lasted 15 years before the coating started to crack and peel, FYI, which is pretty amazing. It fits perfectly inside one side of our double sink. It has a nice little caddy for you to put your silverware, and nice slots for dishes to dry. I'm seriously considering buying a second one as a back-up since I worry that the coated ones are being phased out in favor of plain stainless steel.

Made in America!
UPDATE (2025): I wrote my original review when I ordered it in 2020. It is now almost exactly 5 years later and we are still using this dish drying rack and it has not rusted at all. The only "complaint" I have (and it's hardly a complaint) is that the utensil holder swings back if you have too many things in it so it can actually drip onto my counter (the drain board underneath is not quite long enough). We solve this problem by sliding the utensil holder toward the corner where there is more support and it stays upright. But I'm extremely happy we bought this. I am considering getting the smaller version for my mom, but apparently it's sold out. I'm trying to make more effort to buy American made products. I have been looking to replace my old dish rack which was this exact same model, but I was considering other designs. The only two companies I saw that had dish racks were made in America and within my price range were Rubbermaid and Sterilite. I've owned the Sterilite one before and the design doesn't work with my kitchen setup so I bought the same one I had. Now, I only just got this one a couple of days ago, but I can speak from experience regarding the one I had before. Does it rust? Mine did, but not until after over 5 years of use and because the plastic coating eventually started to crack due to heavy use (we hand wash all our dishes). We use ours on our kitchen counter and have a Rubbermaid drain board underneath it. The great thing about this particular rack is that it can be set up in either direction - but if you're using the Rubbermaid drain board, you can only set it up with the long side being parallel to the side of your sink (but it takes up less counter space that way). Because it's a wire rack, there are no crevices for water to collect (the plastic ones I've used before have. The utensil container does require more attention because it can get mildewy in there. I just take a bottle brush with some dish soap periodically and clean that out. I'm glad that the dividers in the utensil container don't go up higher beacuse I can fit more things in there more easily. And setting dishes is great. I prefer to place the dishes in one direction and they stand up straight. If you place them the other direction, they are at a slight angle - at least that's how it is with my dishes. And the rack is big and sturdy enough for me to put in my heavy pans. I've even used to air dry my cast iron skillet after I do a quick wipe-down with a towel. My old rack really took a beating and I know this one will too.

Still The Best Dish Drainer
Just the right size for my kitchen sink counter. Rubbermaid has always made great products, though this generation of dish drainers isn’t as sturdily built like the older ones sold years ago. Still, the rubber coated dish drainer is way better than other brands and can accommodate my large 6 qt. pots. Hope this is NEVER discontinued cause I haven’t found one that fits or lasts as well as a Rubbermaid dish drainer. I just wish they would also bring back the bottom drain tray!

Great buy.
This drainer is a little lighter-weight than the old kind, and the rubber coating on the metal seems like it's thinner. You can tell that it's not quite so cushiony-feeling. HOWEVER, I don't see those as negative. Lighter is better for my needs. I use it, let the dishes dry, then put it under the sink where it's hidden away and the counter looks clean and neat. It's a perfect size for that, yet holds lots of dishes. It's bright white, and looks great, and the glass holders have no problem holding my heavy glasses that I like to use. Some reviewers mentioned the long, narrow silverware holder letting the silverware fall sideways. It kind of does do that, but I usually have so much silverware in one wash that it's all standing up, and the cup holds plenty. I saved my silverware holder from the old dish drainer and added it to this one, so I'll have even more room. Please don't let my photos mislead you (if I can figure out how to post phots, lol), this drainer does NOT come with two silverware holders. Only the one narrow cup. I am pleased with the purchase and would buy from them again. Hope this helps you.

1 Year Later and Still Perfect!
This item fits perfectly in my double sink and saves so much counter space. I purchased it last year and has no signs of rust or wear after a full year of use. It's very easy to clean and holds a lot of dishes for its size. The utensil holder is removable, which allows for an even easier time when cleaning. I've taken it with me to my new apartment and realized this deserved a review. You can see from the photo that even after a year it's like new. As long as you clean it now and then, it should hold up perfectly and last a very long time.

Excellent quality. Durable. Looks great.
This is the dish rack to buy. Rubbermaid quality. Perfect size. Perfect color. Durable white plastic coating. Won't rust unless water sits in the feet/nibs. It should last 10-15 years. This model is very difficult to find & is no longer sold in retail stores... remember those? Used to be avail. at Zellers... which closed & left Canada long ago.

Perfect for double sink
I was very happy when Amazon started listing this product again as I had to resort to relatives buying in US and bringing over to UK. These baskets are expensive but a perfect fit for a double sink.
