Fine Fabric Wash 3.3 Oz: Lavender

Gentle wool wash. The small size I buy to accompany any hand made knitted gifts I give. The larger size I use to block my knitted projects and to clean them when needed. Can buy with or without a scent! I trust this brand to clean my wool/cashmere hand knit items.

Look at the ingredients of many wool washes. I have found this one to leave my sheepskins the softest and cleanest that they have ever been after the dreaded wash. Eucalan contains the one extra ingredient that makes a huge difference- linoleum! It's nice to not have to add diluted linoleum separately as a after step. This is a one step, no rinse process that i now trust. The hides with wool were my biggest challenge so woolen garments are an easy breeze. The only downside is that I find this a bit more expensive than others per oz.

Good soap for my wool sweaters. Leaves them clean and soft. No strong odor.

My wife is extremely, and I mean extremely, sensitive to fragrance. Two brain surgeries are the cause of that. The slightest stinky floral fragrance (I'm talking to you, Philosophy; ugh) is enough to trigger a multiple-day migraine. Everything these days including even packaging is fragranced it seems, and you now have to seek out unscented versions of products which in the past were never scented. Insanity. Anyway, she used Eucalan for several years on the advice of the lingerie shop she goes to. She tried a different product called Soak, and that was a massive failure. She went back to Eucalan and is happy once again. Highly recommend this product whether you're sensitive to fragrance or not. Couldn't be easier to use: mix a small amount in water, soak the item overnight, let it dry. No rinsing, scrubbing, agitation, or anything else required. Gentle on the most fragile of items. Great for cloth masks, lingerie, or whatever. You can use it in a washing machine as well, although I'd only do that using a lingerie bag, small volume, gentle cycle.

Pay attention, this is a great product, but a very small size.

I just received a box of unwashed Alpaca fiber- and it smelled like a barnyard. Now, I LIKE the smell, but could do without all the dirt. I had rinsed/washed about of pound of fiber with woolite, and thought it was clean. On impulse, I got Eucalan to try... OMG... With a dime-sized dollop in an 8 quart bucket of warm water, I stirred the fiber gently and was shocked to see the water turn brown almost instantly! When I drained it, I also found a bunch of tiny gravel/sand on the bottom. Hmm- so I tried an experiment, and rewashed this load with Woolite- it came out 'clean' and with no debris. I then washed it with Eucalan, and the water was immediately brown with gravel loosened on the bottom. I also noticed that any plant debris with loosened and floating! Two more times and, finally, as clean as it can probably get. I'm still waiting for the load to air dry, and there is still the tiniest scent of barnyard/animal (which I don't mind at all), but as for cleaning- this product will be my go for all. I'm pleasantly stunned!

My adult children grew up with multiple New Zealand sheepskin “rugs” to nap and play on, and we still have most of them. Not surprisingly, when one of my daughters had her own baby last year she got him one of his own. After his had been machine washed with a “delicate” laundry soap for woolens a couple of times, the skin side was no longer supple and was more like cardboard, and the fur wasn’t as soft as it once was. After one machine wash (sans rinse) in warm water with Eucalan lanolin, and even tumble dried to a little drier than damp on very low heat, the skin is renewed and supple, and the fur is as soft as it should be. I purchased the unscented and it truly left no scent behind. I highly recommend this to anyone who needs to care for a natural sheepskin.

Love this stuff! I am trying to avoid harsh chemicals and the dry cleaners, due to environmental and health issues. I have used this to hand wash dozens of items and it does a wonderful job. I find that a little goes a long way. I use about a capful or less, let the item soak for 15 minutes or so and that's it! No rinsing required. I have also used it full strength on a Q-tip to remove stains prior to washing. Works quite well as a pre-treater/ stain remover. I diluted a capful in a spray bottle of water and use it as a fabric refresher on pillows, area rugs and the dog bed. Leaves a light, pleasant scent behind that doesn't linger. I thought it was expensive for such a small bottle but after a ton of washes, I still have over a half a bottle left. Well worth the cost. I may try a different scent next time, but will definitely stick with this brand. Great stuff!

Ich benutze Eucalan schon länger, habe dieses hier als kleines Mitbringsel gekauft. Ideal für Handgestricktes. Da ich viel stricke, auch handgesponnene Wolle, wasche ich meine Wollsachen immer mit der Hand und Eucalan ist bisher das beste Wollwaschmittel, das mir untergekommen ist. Riecht angenehm und muss auch nicht ausgespült werden.

Sono un'appassionata di lavori a maglia e da tempo cercavo un detersivo veramente delicato e che non faccia infeltrire i miei capi di lana, visto il tempo che ho impiegato per realizzarli... Questo prodotto è davvero favoloso e adatto per la lana perchè contiene lanolina, costa un po' caro, ma ne basta un cucchiano da caffè dentro una bacinella con acqua a temperatura ambiente e i capi vengono puliti e perfetti, senza bisogno di risciacquarli, ma volendo, si può procedere al risciacquo, usando acqua pulita e a temperatura ambiente. Si può usare anche in lavatrice, ma io sinceramente i capi in lana preferisco lavarli a mano. Ed infine si può usare al posto dell'ammorbidente in lavatrice, sopratutto per la biancheria, ne basta solo qualche goccia nell'ultimo risciacquo e si avrà tutto morbido e profumato. Sono solo un po' pentita di aver preso il flaconcino da 100 ml, ma volevo provarlo e ho preferito acquistare la confezione più piccola, ovvamente appena lo finirò lo acquisterò di nuovo.
