Could this product be cut in half, down the middle, making two separate hanging units? Thanks!

The one you are showing, is smaller than what I purchased, however I think it could be cut down the middle. There is ample space between each slot and the top hook is centered over each row. Again this one is smaller than what I purchased, I purchased the 25 pair organizer, but you have given ME a great idea.. Thanks.

I am using this for prescription eyeglasses. Should i be putting the lense side towards the plastic or felt to prevent scratching?

Either side will protect your glasses!!! But I prefer the felt side for my lenses!!!

Could I use this for hair bows?

What is the maximum door thickness the hooks can fit?

Approximately 1.5" . My door is roughly 1.25" thick with just under .5'' remaining free in the clips
