Speaker System Z323 with Subwoofer

Before I purchased these speakers, I poked around on the internet looking for reviews. I wasn't sure about buying these because of some bad reviews. I don't regret it at all. They are amazing speakers with great sound quality and it takes less than 15 minutes to set them up. With the bass control, you can adjust it to wherever you like, loud, soft, or even none. The sound quality is very great, but not the best. Don't get me wrong, they still sound great. But when you start listening to very fancy speakers at about $300-400 they get even better. I think that the people who are giving the bad reviews are people who have had very nice speakers. The Bose computer monitor speakers have better sound quality, but they are $400. These are fabulous speakers. And for the price, you can't go wrong. So these speakers are pretty amazing. The sound quality is great, they look nice, they are easy to set up, and are just super cool. If you are a real speaker freak and know all about the good, the bad, and the ugly, then you may not like these. But as a novice, I'd say these speakers are at about a 4.5/5 stars. The sound quality is amazing, but could be better. I can't complain about it though because with the price, you can't go wrong. If you are looking for some fairly cheap and nice speakers with good sound quality that look nice, then you can't go wrong with the Logitech Z323 Speakers. (By the way, I have only listened to music with these speakers so far. I haven't tried it on my TV or XBOX yet. But music sounds amazing.)

These were a gift to my mom to replace her old speakers that were breaking down. She loves them and with an equalizer, they sound amazing! The subwoofer gives that bass a good kick too!

Shipping took a while and I almost cancelled the order, but I'm glad I didn't. This is an older system and I'm not sure they still make it, but well worth the cost. I previously bought a more expensive system and returned it because of the tinny sound and lack of base. This system is head & shoulders above that system in sound and value. It was received new in original packaging and well protected in a shipping box. Recommended!!

This thing is a workhorse. I’ve had it for seven years and have had no problems. It’s a good all-around speaker system and does a decent job with audio, although I’m not an audiophile. It has gotten me through multiple moves from my house and still keeps chugging. I wouldn’t give it five stars because it’s not the best system you can buy, but if you need a cheap setup that will last a long time, this is a good deal.

I am...amazed. Flatly amazed. These speakers take up so little room on my desk, yet they put out such a big sound. When I first opened the shipping box I was thinking "This box is much too light to be this big.". Then when I got the shipping box open and found the product box inside and it was less than half the size of the shipping box I was stunned. It was almost tiny. The two speakers are about "normal" size for PC speakers. It's the subwoofer that's the surprising bit. It's approx 6 inches tall and 6 inches deep and 4 inches wide. And it hardly weighs much of anything. But it feels solid. Knocking on the sides you can tell that there's no internal bracing. It sounds hollow. And there's not much to the weight of it, so you know that there's hardly any material to the box itself; meaning that the sides are probably fairly thin. Maybe a quarter inch. But since the power output is only about 20 watts for the sub, then the box doesn't need much mass. After a 2 week break-in period I sat down with various pieces of music to get an all round feel for the sound these speakers are capable of. Pushing the speakers at 3/4 volume (sub set at 4/9) with Bad Company's "Electric Land", the bass was solid without a trace of flabbiness. Though the speakers did sound a little strained at the high sound level. Backing off slightly makes all the difference in the world. The fact that the speakers are bi-polar makes them actually disappear in the sound stage. Though, because the speakers only contain "one" driver they can't give you "room filling sound". You can definitely tell that these are small speakers. Leaving the settings exactly the same, and testing with various genre (except rap and opera, because I can't stand rap or opera) reveals that this initial impression was good across the spectrum. For $50 these PC speakers are spectacular performers. (PS: If they don't survive long or fail in some way before a years time, I'll come back and update this review.)

Perfect speakers for the price, four months of use and had zero issues. Some previous speakers I have had would have issues when turning the volume up too high and would become tinny and just sound bad, especially the subwoofer. This setup however has worked great for me so far and even when blasting my workout music whether it is hip-hop, rap or various forms of electronic music the sound stays clear to where I can turn it up loud enough to hear clearly throughout the whole house. The subwoofer works well, but it isn't anything special which is to be expected given that this is a fairly standard speaker set, and while it wont put out the huge booms of an expensive set it will deliver a strong bass without causing any distortions or horrible effects at higher volumes like many cheaply made subwoofers. Pros: Great price for the quality Good sound quality in movies, music and video games Fairly good stock subwoofer for the price Doesn't distort sounds at high volumes Cons: I found the cable length to be a little bit too short in some areas, which resulted in having to do rearranging to make sure I could get everything set up with my computer Overall, a great product for the money and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a budget speaker system with good quality for regular use.

I got these to replace my Logitech z523 after the aux cable frayed. For the price these speakers are just fine. They sound a bit hallow but just slightly. Im not sure what these speakers are missing sound wise but i can't hear something that should be there. (hard to describe) I recommend saving up for a higher tier setup. The bass speaker on these is very small compared to the one i had before. It is nice to have the extra space but i sure miss the old bass. I figured i could buy these and connect them to my z523 sub but unfortunately the z3223 will not power the z523 sub as there is no bass control on the speaker boxes. I did not buy these and expect them to power my z523 figured it was worth a try though. For the price of these they work fine! Edited to 5 stars 11/16 These speakers are really nice sounding for the price. I think i critiqued these too hard. For podcasts/youtube videos its great sounding. Gaming is pretty good as well if you don't use headphones. I recommend these as i couldn't imagine getting this quality at this price point.

Not sure who to blame here. Logitech, the Seller, or UPS... My first unit arrived fine and had them for about a year before one of the speakers just stopped working. This seems like Logitech's faulty design. I used it like this (one speaker down) for about another year before deciding that I wanted the full sound of both speakers again. As it was not under warranty of any kind, I purchased the unit again in hopes that this one would hold out a little longer than a year. Here's where the trouble starts, I'm not sure if the seller just refuses to test their products before they ship them out, or if UPS is dropping the ball (or speakers) but, I'VE NOW HAD 2 SEPARATE UNIT SHIPPED TO ME THAT WERE DEAD ON ARRIVAL! Same issue with the 2nd unit. The big subwoofer was completely blown and I could barely hear anything. I tried plugging in a 2nd device to see if it was my laptop's aux input, but same thing on my phone. So that's the 2nd set of of these Logitech speakers now, COMPLETELY BLOWN. It's like they shipped me back the same unit. Wow. Just blown away that I got a 2nd DOA with these speakers. Luckily Amazon seems to be holding up their end with the printing labels and refunds. Whether it's the seller not checking units, or if it's UPS dropping packages, clearly the speakers could be made better, so minus points for build quality and durability. I do have to say though (shedding light to why I keep rebuying these damn things), when my first unit was fully-functioning, it sounded amazing. I like that you can adjust the sound between the device volume, music player app volume, actual speaker volume, and the bass nob in the back. You can really dial the the sound down just the way you want it. So here's to unit #4! I definitely will update upon arrival.

This set is an Ace in the hole. All around great sound for the price point. I have had Logitech speakers before and they lasted forever so to speak. I then replaced them with the Bose companion 2 series. That was a mistake. I like Bose but the PC speakers were painful to listen to. They lasted about 10 minutes with me and then ordered this set. Like I said for the price point you will not go wrong. Setup was a breeze. The LED light on the front of the speaker is not bright enough to bother you when you are in a dark setting, like watching a movie for example. My only little gripe would be to have a slightly more prominent volume nub so that you can feel roughly at what level the speaker is on at. But a very good set for your desktop. The headphone jack on the side of the right speaker is great for the do not disturb moments and aux outlet is also nice if you want to hear tunes straight from your MP3 player or phone. Good job Logitech!

Previously I purchased the LS21 set from Logitech. It worked well for the price. Since then, I got a puppy who decided to chew the wires...hah So I was faced with a decision, purchase the same set or upgrade. I decided to upgrade, and boy was I not disappointed! The LS21 has nothing on this set hah I barely reached the halfway mark on the volume control of the Z323 set and my floors are moving! So is the furniture! I currently have the bass level at the dot right before the middle of the control. And it sounds so great :) I'm so very glad I bought these. It was certainly worth the little extra (especially when these are on sale!) So far zero distortion (that I can hear) The only issue I had was the first set Amazon sent me was a previous return by another customer. I called and they apologized and sent me out a new set that arrived the next day. So impressed, thank you Amazon.

Solid, strong, very rich and clear sound. Speakers are a good weight, volume control on one of the speakers. The older version of these speakers had a light on the volume control so you could see how loud the volume was turned up; this version has the light just above the volume control, which is why I gave this item 4 stars instead of 5. Sub woofer works well, has adjustable bass (on the back), and is half the size as Logitech sub woofers used to be, with no loss of quality. If the volume control had the light on it, this would be a perfect set. The sound is great, though, and I do recommend it.

Nice. Cables not too short like usually, subwoofer got enough punch, build quality is okay. Satellites play pretty detailed, and build a wide stage. The crossover frequency is a little high, but an EQ like the one which comes with your sound card or iTunes will fix this easily.

Great entry level speakers for a great price. Sturdy, I've accidentally yanked these off my computer desk multiple times and they are still in perfectly working condition. Sound quality is great, I'm more of a headphones user myself when watching tv/movies, playing games but sometimes you just need to blast some music. They are pretty loud, definitely enough if you live in an apartment. Subwoofer is okay, enough bass for small parties. I definitely recommend these.
