I love hand sewing but as I get older threading has ...
Ok I have become quite an authority on threaders over the years! I love hand sewing but as I get older threading has become more of a problem. Though they break easily this style of threaders is the best. Saying that, this brand is the lowest quality. they are also way cheaper. The best are the ones made in Japan. They are the heaviest gauge metal and the wire is secured twice. On amazon they are referred to as vintage threaders. They have the profile of delicate woman. The second best is the is the Dritz. They are made in china are a lighter gauge metal and are secured twice. This Refaxi brand are light metal and the wire is secured only once. They break easily. BUt they are soooo much cheaper. The others are close to a dollar each, where as these are $1.50 for 100! It's a no brainer. They take weeks to come but what a deal. At 15¢ it's the way to go. Remember that whichever brand you buy they are delicate and not intended for heavy threads or yarns.

Helps us with old eyes
Do you realize how many 100 is??? When I got these, I wondered where my mind was to order so many, although they probably ended up costing 1/50th of what you would get in the store. Maybe I can find some nice fabric and put together little sewing baskets for gifts. (You can get little baskets fairly cheap. When I started using these threaders, I discovered that many break easily. Maybe I will need all 100. For those of us that need eyes or glasses on our fingertips, these are handy. All in all, a good deal.

Lots of needle threaders!
I love needle threaders because I do some type of hand sewing every day. I do cross stitch, fine embroidery, quilting, and I hand sew the seams in my handmade clothing. That means I use a wide variety of needles, many of which have tiny eyes and are very hard to thread. Therefore, I rely on needle threaders. But, they can be very hard to find in retail stores in packs of just needle threaders. They are most often enclosed in thread assortments or small seeing kits. I don't want to buy a thread assortment every time I break my needle threader and need a new one. This huge pack of threaders solves my problem and they are so inexpensive! If I break one I have a replacement easily at hand. These are packaged nicely with the threaders bundled into 2 packs of 50, rubber banded together (exactly like the photo). It's easy to slide out one or more as needed. These are extremely reasonably priced, well packaged, and of fairly good quality. The wires do pull out easily as mentioned by a number of other reviewers. Simply pinch down on the raised area where the wires go through the backing and they will hold much better. These are an awesome value and I don't understand anyone complaining if they break easily. This pack of 100 costs less than a 2-pack at a retail store. They're simply an awesome value for a nice product. They also arrived before the earliest estimated delivery date, which was a nice surprise. I ordered a second set so I could have one set in my sewing box and one set by my sewing machine. A lifetime supply for pocket change.

Worthless product
These are worthless. The wire threader is so poorly attached to the aluminum puller that most fall apart when being removed from their packaging. The ones remaining intact break upon first use.

Fast Shipping from China, Excellent Value, There is an Easy Fix for the Weak Spot
Package arrived in 12 days. Yes, these are very cheap, but more expensive ones are pretty cheap too. Yes, the wire will separate quickly. The reason these threaders are weak is because there is nothing clinching the wire to the flat metal handle. The solution is easy and takes two seconds.. When you pull out a new threader just pinch a coin and roll firmly across the tiny tabs to better secure the wire. Makes a very servicable tool. I usually use the handle of my embroidery scissors. A round key works too. You get the idea. With that tiny easy fix, they are a great value. Happy sewing.

The wire comes off easily
It works to thread 2 strands of DMC floss through a size 24 needle. BUT...the wire disconnects from the handle piece VERY easily. I have to hold on to the wire before I pull floww through. If I don't hold on tight, it breaks apart. I am through about 10 of them already. I hope that I will be trained to remember to hold on to the wire connecting part. Well...it's a good reason they sent me 100 of them! BTW...if you are just using sewing thread, may be you don't have to pull as hard.

no treading a needle stress.
there best way to thread a needle. Wire goes in and you hook pull out and your dinkey needle is threaded. Will never not have them. And with 100. I will share with family. There cheep and flimsy. But cheep toss every time is you want. They stop the needle thread stress. Get sewing people. The dinkey hole is no problem for any person and people with old eyes like me LOVE THEM.
