They are great remotes.
The Harmony 6550 is the best ever. We have had 2 for our TV's and they have worked fine for over 10 years and several configuration changes. You can program them and change channels.

Piece of trash!
I ordered two of these reconditioned remotes. The first one didn't work properly right out of the box. I returned it and Amazon honored the return with a credit. The second one worked ok until it was 26 days past the 90 day warranty date. I paid $140 for this unit and not happy at all. DO NOT ORDER ONE OF THESE RECONDITIONED UNITS.

Harmony remote replacement
Logitech no longer manufactures the Harmony 650. This one is reconditioned to like-new condition. Exactly what I needed at a price less than trying to get the one I had repaired.

Works as intended. Hopefully the electronics are not too old and it will have a long life. Unusable communication cable, very poorly constructed..

Purchased 4, and 0 out of 4 worked.
I purchased 4 of these to replace 3 with a spare I could not manage to link one, to a computer to program it. I tried 3 processor/OS configurations several different cables and even disabling the firewall/deselecting VPN. In short everything I could think of, I suspect these had failed and were simply repackaged and shipped. They are not cheap so buy at your own risk.

Some "Refurbished buttons" don't work...
Ordered one of these refurbished remotes to replace an old one I had with several buttons that had failed to work. Low and behold, several buttons on the new remote failed to work as well. So I sent that one back and got a replacement refurbished unit. On the second remote I received, many buttons (the number buttons and others) also failed to work! So, before sending that one back I "exercised" the faulty buttons for awhile (pressing them again and again) and got most of them to start working (it's like the button contacts had become oxidized or corroded). Long story short, I got enough of the buttons to work to justify not sending the second unit back. Some of the buttons that still don't work (like the color buttons) could be programmed onto the remote's screen to be able to use those functions. All in all, not a great experience, and who knows how long the heavily used important buttons (like Fast forward 30) will continue to work.

lack of quality
2 weeks after the 90 day warranty expired the volume control is not operating properly.It would be nice if they came forward and looked after this issue.
