Bond is strong, just make sure to clean the work area
Works great. Used it to bond a grade five bolt head in a tough spot with limited space. Just make sure to clean the area well, I used acetone, and this Steel Weld will do it's job. Quick set up time, so just be aware you will only have a few minutes to work with it until it begins to harden. I held my thumb on the head for five minutes and the head was appeared to be bonded quite strongly. The cap is great too, as once you snap it off, flip over to close the tube so the epoxy does not dry out. Good stuff. I am sure I will use it again...

Failure and then success!
Purchased to epoxy brass to brass. My first and second tests were disappointing failures. Brass was cleaned and lightly sanded but the initial bonding though good the pieces were easily separated as they cured. For a 3rd test I took two different pieces of brass, cleaned, bonded and had GREAT success! Been a few weeks since and the bond is still excellent. Very strong union. I am so glad it worked. Not sure why first two tests failed

Used on Metal Trophy
I was worried because some reviews led me to think this wouldn’t work for me, but it did. I used this product to fix a sports trophy topper that had broken off. It was easy to mix and apply. Set up wasn’t as quick as I thought. It actually fell apart twice. Once it began to harden I was able to refit it and it cured perfectly.

Doesn’t work on “all” surfaces.
Wire frame glasses with a seperate welded bridge are defenitely a repair issue I’ll have to reluctantly rely on an eyeglass center or jeweler that has the appropriate welding equipment. These eyeglass frames were purchased new less than 6 months ago. I don’t remember sitting on them..or leaving them under the wheel of a car ….regardless…the weld broke somewhere along the rim and continued to split away from the bridge. I thought as long as I made the effort to sand the surfaces with a light Dremel disc action it would sufficiently provide a bondable surface. (Eye glass piece was removed prior to DIY attempt) I checked, double checked, and triple checked the instructions, the frame surface area, and respected the curing time. The weld actually did work. I did trade off and on with my backup glasses for the first week because I wanted to gently ease into all day usage just to be sure. I was simply laying reclined watching TV when my eyes caught the side view of the metal separating again. I had been observant and cautious the entire time and can’t recall any occurrence of rough or mishandling use. They sat way beyond the curing time positioned in my gator clip multi arm soldering station clamping everything in place. Followed by a few days of resting time out of the clamps. Either I missed some inconspicuous tiny detail in the process like a rogue airborne lint particle landing on my frames seconds before dropping the gray goo mixture on the target, or these frames are exclusive to professional welding only. I’ve not tested the permapoxy on anything else yet, but I have my sights set on some spare pieces of rebar I’m looking to form together for a window security grill. I give 3 stars thus far but may return to boost my review after pursuing other projects. I’m anxious to weld a silver dollar to the sidewalk out front and observe the next Amazon delivery driver become frustrated. Performing a prank is an ancient act of showing friendship and respect…..in some culture….somewhere….i’m pretty sure….Prime delivery people are my heroes and emotional support team, not just my personal quality testing participants.

Great Product
This product is a fantastic find! It's reasonably priced, making it accessible for most budgets without compromising on quality. The product is exactly as described, and its usefulness cannot be overstated. I've found it to be incredibly practical and efficient in meeting my needs. The attention to detail is impressive, and the performance is on par with more expensive alternatives. If you're looking for something reliable, well-made, and at a fair price point, this is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

Excellent product
I had an issue with an old custom made handle for a shower. The original screw type attachment wasn’t able to be repaired and replacement was prohibitively expensive. This epoxy worked a charm. No need for clamping. Virtually invisible bond that so far seems to be holding up like new. Used a tiny bit and, truth be known, will probably never need the rest of the tubes but at twenty dollars way cheaper than replacing the handle mechanism

Fixed a leak under our mixer tap.
Excellent product, fixed a leak due to corrosion on the underside of the kitchen mixer tap. Followed the instructions without issue, however, the tubes are hard to squeeze the products out initially. You also have to work fast before it sets, so have all you need to do the job set out before you begin the process. As this repair is on the underside and unseen, I didn't care much as to how it looked. I also sanded the area a little using a nail emery board prior to application to assist with adhesion.
