Daewoo Essentials 1.7L Fast Boil Electric Kettle – White Plastic Cordless Jug with Auto Shut-Off & Boil-Dry Protection, Compact, Easy to Use & Clean

Brought this to go camping with as just about the same price as a travel kettle, to say this was pretty cheap it’s a great kettle, good size, doesn’t take too long to boil and is very quiet.

It does its job feels, a bit cheap and not the best fit to its base but ok for the price pao

Value for money. Very durable. It’s been 2years now and it’s still serving I and family.

Very good value for money. But a few notes of caution: it is not as powerful as some other kettles, so boils a bit slower (it tells you the power in the ad, so this is not a fault or a cheat). (I measured 2.25kW with my watt-meter, and my house voltage is typically about 245 volts, the top end of the spectrum in the UK). It tends to get steam condensing in the lid, so that after it has cooled down, when you open the lid to refill it, the condensed water from the lid drips down the back of the kettle. I have to discipline myself not to lift the lid before lifting the kettle off the base, or else it drips down into the live socket on the base (it has done this multiple times, and so far, no exciting blue flashes of arcing in the base, but it worries me that might be possible. I wouldn't like a child to handle it).

It's good as a cheap & cheerful kettle. I bought it for my office at work. Its not a fast boil but it does the job & is good quality.
