I ordered these Wednesday 13th May and they were meant to arrive Monday 18th but they arrived Saturday 16th morning, which was a nice surprise. On first impressions, I don't think there's any issues and they look to be really nice. The packaging of the product was good and all 150 threads and little extra things are there. Such a wide range of colours, some look similar but not the same. I am yet to use them, so that's why I put the 4 stars but I doubt there will be any problems as they feel pretty good. I have gotten into embroidery during lockdown, and I think this a a great starter pack as it's great value and good quality.

I bought this product because with the whole coronavirus thing I needed to keep myself occupied so I don't go stir crazy. I decided to try embroidery and maybe embroider some canvas shoes in the end or something. I bought this kit and it looks fantastic! (Not an overexaggeration). There are 150 Skeins (threads), which is great because then you aren't really wanting for any colours during your project, and mine came with no repeats of colours (though there are a few similar ones). The kit also came with extra needles of different sizes, which is really useful for a newbie like me who is trying to learn and doesn't have a large kit yet, some bobbin things to wrap the thread around, a needle threader (which is any sewers life saver), a quick unpick and a thimble looking thing. The only issues I have with the kit are that when they come in the post they're in a bag and some of the labels from one skein are attached to the thread of another and this can be a hassle to sort out neatly, another thing is the lack of black thread (but that's cheap enough to buy separately). Overall the entire kit was really good value for money for a novice like me and should come in useful when trying to waste the hours away during the coronavirus pandemic. 🙂

As a beginner, I ordered these threads, not wanting to spend too much on other branded threads. I needed to see if I would enjoy cross stitch and did not want to spend loads if I didn't need to. Really appreciate that the threads are colours matched to DMC threads, which is really helpful for following DMC patterns. For the price, the quality of the product is really good, I've not had any issue with fraying at all. Really happy with the threads and glad I bought them. An excellent beginners thread, or for those on a budget!

Due to the product being so cheap I was unsure what was going to arrive and I was shocked when I saw how great the quality was. As a beginner the product provides you with a great range of shades so that you can experiment with which colours you want to work with. Because of the value I also use the thread as colour studies in my sketchbook and glue them down allowing my sketchbook to look a little less flat :))

I got the set of 150 and the selection of colours is brilliant! A really wide range and no repeats. From the photos some of the colours looked a bit bright but when they arrived there are a lot of lovely muted / pastel tones too! The extra needles in various sizes were handy too, perfect set for a beginner. As mentioned in some of the other reviews the skeins were packaged up together with some of the paper wraps stuck together but it was easy enough to separate everything out. Overall really happy with the value for money, looking forward to stitching more!

Really happy with these! Fantastic range of vibrant and deep colours and great quality. I used to do alot of cross stitch from kits but that was a few years ago. I thought I'd pick up my needle again and try some of my own designs. My imagination is already running wild with these colours! There's a couple of critical comments on these reviews. To confirm, mine came with colour numbers as you can see in the photo. There was white but no black. To be fair I don't need black as there's very deep shades of every colour but I think if you use loads of black you'll be buying it separately anyway. Presentation was fine - it's thread! Really difficult to keep neat in the first place so I think the seller has done well. The first thing I'll do is reorganise them into my own thread box so it's no problem for me. I don't think I'll be running out of thread anytime soon but when I do, I will be buying again!

This bundle is much better quality than I was expecting for the price. There really are so many colours I doubt I'll ever need to buy more, it's taking forever to transfer to bobbins in a storage box, but that's not really a complaint. I'd recommend this to any beginner for sure, there's a brilliant mixture of bright tones to pastels and a good range of more muted earthy colours too. As another reviewer pointed out, there are no blacks or whites, I already have those so it's not an issue for me, but you can buy those separately if you need them. When I showed my mum, who used to embroider, how much I got for the price she was shocked.

Muy buena calidad de los hilos. Lo único que eché en falta fue que -entre tantos colores- no había el color negro.

El paquete ha llegado antes de tiempo, los colores son muy bonitos y no están repetidos aunque, obviamente, hay colores muy parecidos. Los hilos son suaves y tienen 6 hebras. Por lo que he podido comprobar coinciden con la numeración de DMC. No le doy 5 estrellas porque vienen 140 colores en vez de 150. En general estoy muy contenta y satisfecha con mi compra. Repetiré cuando me haga falta.
