Vango Kraken 2 Oversized Chair

I purchased this chair as I have recently injured my back quite badly and needed something to take with me on picnics etc as I can no longer walk very far or sit on the floor.This chair is very easy to set up (even with a sore back) and to pack away. It has solid arms and is very wide so it’s comfortable and my daughter can sit on the chair with me!It is light enough for me to carry. Be aware that it takes up more space than a standard cheap camping chair when folded but it stands on its own when in the bag which is useful!Things I’d improve on:1. Add a drinks holder area.2. Put two handles on the bag so it can be carried as a rucksack for even weight distribution.All in all I’m really chuffed I got it!

I am a rotund 5ft 7 weighing in at 21 stone.This chair takes my bulk in comfort and is wide enough not to dig into my thighs like most others. Highly recommended.

You always know when your sat in a foldable chair,There always something uncomfortable about the chair,Well the vango kraken is different,This chair is strong and comfortable and gives you confidence to sit in knowing your not going to break it or sprain it like other chairs i have sat in.Also has good arm rests to help you up unlike a-lot of chairs.

Initially a little hard to open but once settled was very comfortable. Two operations have left me somewhat weak and I find it difficult to get up from a sitting position, this chair, with its firm armrests, is perfect for me.

Seven trips to a Greek beach without a problem. My partner (with arthritis) found it high enough to get out of easily, and comfortable to sit in. Could be a bit stiff to open (there is obviously a knack to it that I could not find) and we had to buy a long "sports" bag to take it in as it will not fit in a normal case. Airport was OK with that.

After having another chair collapse on me I opted for this one and it is excellent

bought this chair for attending dog shows.. its very comfy, very portable and occasioinally when my back is turned my terrier puppy takes my seat, so she likes it too. Still going strong after a summer season of outdoor dog shows!!

It is a very comfortable chair and if you are a big person you will absolutely be fine with this chair it is rock solid and is extremely light and easy to move or carry especially if you struggle with any ongoing health disability issues.Highly recommend.
