Good Stuff
I grew koji successfully with this. The first time I didn't get the rice moist enough and it kind of petered out, but the second time My koji was healthy and smelled amazing. I still have about 1/4 of the packet left, you definitely don't need to use all of it to do a batch of koji rice. I was surprised that it was a white powder, not spore colored, but it works great.

Works, white fuzz everywhere
Added contents of pkg to bunch of cooked rice. After a few days in warm temps, rice was COVERED with a blanket of white fur.
