Peek-a-Boo Zoo

These books are great for little hands and early readers! Though our son was an excellent reader and could sit through longer works, our daughter (18 months old) is squirmy. We’re able to read the entire text, which is four lines per page, while she lifts the flap. This allows us to read through the entire book. The illustrations are simple, yet colorful, so they will hold the attention of most children. We’ve found the flaps to be durable enough that none have ripped or needed repair. Great book for younger children (1-3 years old)!

Such a cute book! Joyce's books are consistent in that they are all adorable and fun. I only have a handful of her books so far, but all of them are simple enough for our young kids to enjoy. I plan on adding all of her books to our library!

We bought peek a boo farm at half priced books and our baby loved it so much we got this one to add to the collection (since its by the same author). Very cute book and he loves the flaps that pull down.

Very cute and creative book. I appreciate that the text is a bit longer than many board books out there. The peek a boo animals which are folded into the book are really fun for baby. This is a neat way to learn more about animals. I also love Joyce Wan's art.

This book is cute, simple, and short and my almost one-year-olds love lifting the flap. These flaps are more reinforced than my copy of Peek-a-Boo Farm, which is so nice.

Peek-a-Boo Zoo is a delightful, interactive board book. Every other page has a cute four-line poem describing a certain animal and the following page reveals an animal covering its eyes until the child opens the flap and the animal is fully revealed ("Peek-a-boo!"). It's a great way for children to hear the characteristics of an animal ("brown fuzzy fur" or "big and gray"), challenge the child to guess what animal it could be, and surprise them with a beautifully drawn revelation. My 3 year-old loves to hold the book while I read it to her and open the peek-a-boo flaps. The colors, pictures, and interactive nature would appeal to toddlers of all ages.

Love ALLLL these books...some I've rethought bc my daughter used to teethe on them....simple and vibrant!

We fell in love with Joyce Wan books when I found You are my Pumpkin at a local store. Because of this we are slowly buying all her books. So pretty, cute, colourful, and fun to read.

Lovely little book. Big, bold pictures that my little one enjoys looking at. Since about 7 months she's had great fun opening the peekaboo flaps as we read it.
