Cruella De Vil, Disney's most outrageous villain, sets the fur-raising adventure in motion when she dognaps all of the Dalmatian puppies in London — including 15 from Pongo and Perdita's family. Through the power of the "Twilight Bark," Pongo leads a heroic cast of animal characters on a dramatic quest to rescue them all in a story the whole family will enjoy again and again. Review: Joe Books is the best! - Awesome! Review: Not Cinematic Story / Graphic Novel. - This was the hardcover choice next to the paperback choice for 101 Dalmatians cinestory (graphic novel). You can clearly toggle between both versions of the book (paperback and hardcover) and it does not state that one is the graphic novel version and one is a “golden book picture book style”. Basically they’re selling 2 different books under the same listing. The golden book style of this is exactly the same as this book (minus the gold edge) and is roughly $5. Feels purposefully misleading to charge $12 for the same thing when someone thinks they’re getting the graphic novel version.

By the end of telling I was really wanting to close the book and just go watch the movie since it is a lot better in its sharing
Although the movie was decent enough when it comes to Disney films this is just one that doesn't do well in translating it to book format, especially when it comes out as a graphic novel. The only reason why the book is the length that it is since it is a scene-by-scene adaptation from the movie to your reading pleasure with nothing left out. Although this permitted me little treasures such as picking up the names of the cows and also allowing me to learn more of the actual original puppies names there was really nothing much that it did for my reading pleasure. By the end of telling I was really wanting to close the book and just go watch the movie since it is a lot better in its sharing by that way. The only other saving grace for this type of formatting is the fact that Bill Peet and the other original illustrators will at least have their original work saved for posterity if the book is ever preserved since at the rate that movies are being redone I have a feeling that 101 Dalmatians may be up next. But otherwise just grab a bowl of popcorn and pop in the film if you want to revisit this childhood memory.

Enjoyed reading it. It's just like watching the movie. Details in every strip.
