Redmond All-Natural Mineral Rock/Salt Lick, Attract Deer and Big Game 12 pounds

Deer seem to like it. I usually have a variety of different protein/ mineral/ salt blocks, and a mineral lick near each of my food plots. I’ll run a trail cam at each site and make sure they’re fresh all year. The deer seem to like different kinds better at different times of the year. From what I’ve seen they hit the trophy rock more in the summer and early fall. I get the occasional black bear that’ll run off with the trophy rock or any block small enough. Usually not far just hauls it into thicker brush but then I’ve got to look for it.

This wasn't cheap, but is very high quality. The color is pretty out in the rock garden and I see deer poop in the grass, so I think they found it.

The Trophy Rock by Redmond is hands down one of the best mineral licks I’ve used. Deer found it quickly and kept coming back, and trail cam activity increased noticeably after setting it out. Arrived quickly & in perfect shape. Has withstood months of rain, often hard rain. Unfortunately the deer here near metro Atlanta either show no interest or seem actively repelled by it. I put corn out in 2 places & have tried the rock in both places. Some deer won’t eat where the rock is. Oddly, after I moved the rock, they all seemed very interested in licking the ground where the rock had been for several weeks. Makes no sense. I’ve used other mineral blocks before but never had this strange reaction. UPDATE 12/9/25 Since it got cold & browse is slim, quite a few deer are now regularly enjoying the rock. There’s still about 2/3rds of it left so it has weathered well. I would have upgraded to a 5 but none of the big bucks are using it.

It looks like a big beautiful rock. It tolerates rain well. The buck likes it.

I bought this rock for birds to enjoy they seem to really like it for the minerals since their favorite time of year is when they’re nesting in the spring and maybe they sharpen their beaks but there’s finches sparrow and Doves that enjoy it and they always drink water after so must b the salt too
