Would it be ok to just use like 2 reeds in these. I'm a bit worried of overpowering my caravan? Any advice would be grate please?

The less reeds you use, the longer the perfume lasts - try two & you can always add more later. If you have pets then they should be able to escape the smell & some oils are dangerous for them.

How do you know when to replace the solution in the bottle please?

These are glass so if bottle is empty or no scent is being diffused. Recommend you purchase good quality reeds (can be expensive) which do a better job of absorption of liquid thus emitting the scent.

What is the diameter of the opening?

It’s just perfect for 8 reeds…really the diameter is just perfect…i gave these as gifts and people loved them and all neighbours and friends who visited those who I gave them as gifts wanted them. I would only buy those, great quality, beautiful and simply perfect. I would upload picture of my wonderful diffuser, but when I click on upload from library, it doesn’t give me access to all photos, something amazon needs to work on. but glasses are great.
