Great card reader that works with my Mac & AVD
I'm doing a contracting job right now where I need to remote into a virtual desktop using a smartcard. My company issued an IOGear GSR202, which has caused nothing but trouble when I'm connected to my AVD from my Mac. I'm constantly having to remove and reinsert my card, and occasionally the Windows AVD won't even recognize the reader, forcing me to sign out and sign back in. It's been a time-consuming process. I decided to try this card reader since the price was right. Great decision! This card reader is excellent. It feels a bit snappier than the IOGear one, but it also works great with the Windows AVD when I'm connected from my Mac. The driver install was quite simple, and now I'm able to easily authenticate on the virtual desktop without a problem. I'm very happy with this purchase and wanted to let anyone else who may have had problems with the situation I was in know that your problems can be resolved with this card reader.

Best brand to get
There's a reason this is the most used CAC reader in the military. Not sleek or compact as some but I have not had any issues with Identiv.

Compatible with MACs!
This CAC reader works seamlessly with my MAC laptop to read my military ID. Not all CACs seems to be compatible with MACs but this one definitely is.

Works for what it needs to
This card reader works very well with a military CAC. Sometimes we have to reposition it for it to work but that's normal wear, as we've had it for a while.

Simple and Effective
