Is this plant evergreen

I have only had the plant a year ,at the moment it is sprouting the foliage,it was outside for the hard frost we had in London but it had survived that Hopefully it will produce the flowers,I have given the plant some food earlier this year that may have helped. Hopefully this will help you make the decision or not I can only inform you of my plants

how long does this flower

It’s still flowering but not as much as the picture, probably will next year as it’s only been down a couple of months

Does this plant need any particular compost?

I’ve got 6 of these plants and I used a good quality multipurpose compost, when I planted them I also put some worm castings into the soil ( this can be bought from Amazon) my plants have flourished and are very happy
