Hitachi Rm-1800ud Rechargeable Shaver Ac 100~240v Made in Japan

I've been looking for a replacement for my ten-year-old, dying Braun shaver for some time. Many of the new shavers have bulky wall-wart adapters/plugs to meet low-voltage safety standards and are not effective for travel. The Hatachi is a well-made shaver that is compact. It operates only as a rechargeable shaver (you cannot charge while in use) with a retractable US-spec AC plug that plugs the entire shaver into the outlet while recharging. No cord to fuss with!! It features dual-voltage selection for international travel and has a pop-out trimmer. The shaver comes with a soft pouch, bi-lingual manual and cleaning brush. I love it, however, finding replacement foils may be an issue for those in the states.

Outstanding shaver - no cord to fool with, stands upright on the flat bottom, no extra counter space, very quiet operation, and a good close shave. Trimmer is excellent too. Bought it for travel - the best of any for travel - but so good I bought another for my main shaver. Wish it was water proof for cleaning, but cleaning is easy with the brush supplied. Shaves great for first month. Always charged hot, now very hot. Motor dies after 20 seconds. Battery / charging issues. Used for 6 mo. 2 x week. Not made for 10 years. Concerned it may start a Samsung type fire. I would buy a different unit.

Battery works for loooong time and the shaver is great!

Hitachi product is very trustful. I am very happy about this shaver. Sturdy and the battery goes longer than I expected. Without hesitation I give five stars to this product.

Good price and portable

Have not used . But have used similar model. 15 years and going strong. Slightly loose foil on previous model
