Lovely Clock
I was desperately looking for a solid wood clock to replace the old broken down oak clock that I've had for many years. Most of the clocks sold today claim to be made of solid wood but they're really made of simulated wood plastic. They're also very expensive & full of unnecesary gimmicks. So I decided if you can't beat them, join them & I opted for this wonderful great value for money clock with a metal surround that has no silly gimmicks. It still looks quite traditional though with a cream facia & a wonderful silent sweeping second hand, thoroughly recommended.

Stylish addition to ones home decoration
I found the design very fitting with my lounge decoration, the golden frame is in a warm gold, and has an "aged" effect to it, giving this clock a vintage aesthetic. It is silent, which is perfect if you don't want to be distracted by ticking noises. I picked it because it appeared easy to read with it's subdivision for the minutes. The size was also ideal for the space I needed it to be. So far, I believe that it is worth the investment.

Make sure you push the battery in hard, it's a tight fit
So far this clock is fine, but the user manual inside says it glows in the dark 🤔, having only just purchased it I wait and see, Otherwise it's a nice looking clock, retro and a nice sweeping second hand,

Looks smart
Really nice clock. The second hand slides round smoothly as well. Looks nicer in reality than it looks in the pictures.

Inexpensive. Looks good but doesn't work.
The clock was the right size and the right look and feel however because it is for a retirement building I have been waiting for it maintenance to put it up where there aren't wire cables. Unfortunately you only get a month from purchasing it to get support or return it. When I inserted the battery, adjusted the time, I noticed the sweeping hand went around the clock extremely slowly so I changed the battery. 3 times. It worked for 5 minutes then stopped. I then removed the back screws, the fascia and glass. It doesn't work. The mechanism is faulty and I have no recourse. Very bad form.

Quiet
Quiet, classy and accurate so far. Cannot comment on battery consumption yet.

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo
Bellissimo, ottimo acquisto. Sembra antico e di valore, ma è leggerissimo e di plastica, quindi facile da appendere. Nessun rumore.

Wonderful clock, but please read.
Great clock, aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Good price thanks to a Black Friday deal. But one small detail… When I chose this clock, I thought it was amusing that they included instructions on how the second hand may come off during shipping, and how to put it back on. Sure enough when mine arrived, the hand was in the bottom. The instructions provided were clear enough, but I discovered a certain degree of finesse is required to do this on the 16” version of the clock. My instructions may help: You will need a large surface area such as a dining room table, a decent sized towel, a small Phillips-head screwdriver, and recommended but not necessary, a pair of disposable gloves to eliminate fingerprints on the glass. 1. Begin by laying out the towel, and place the clock face down on the right side of the towel, with the mounting hole pointed up away from you (12 o’clock position). 2. Remove all the screws. If you’re one on the lucky ones, the glass and the bezel ring will simply fall out, along with the loose second hand. If it doesn’t, take a toothpick and press down in each of the screw holes, one at a time, until the bezel releases and falls on the towel. 3. Pick up the clock and flip it over to the left, with 12 o’ clock at top. Leave the glass and bezel alone. Pick up the second hand by the center only, and insert it into the hole in the shaft, over the pin inside the shaft. Press down firmly in the center to secure it. 4. You will need to check the movement of the second hand in relation to the minute hand. Don’t put a battery in just yet, rotate the hand knob on the back. You may have to bend the end of the second hand up slightly so it clears the minute hand, on mine I had to do this at both ends. Also check the hour hand in relation to the minute hand, make sure they don’t touch. 5. When done, flip the clock over and place it over the glass and bezel, and make sure the case screw holes are aligned with the bezel ring holes. Place the screws back in the holes, but DO NOT tighten them just yet. 6. Here’s where the finesse comes in. Slide your fingers under the edge of the clock case and press up on the glass bezel along the edge at each screw (if done properly the screw will move up), then tighten the screw. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN, these screws are short and will strip the plastic in a heartbeat. The idea here is that the glass and bezel must meet the clock case before tightening the screws. Work your way around the case, one screw at a time. A couple of other things to note - I noticed a lot of Chinese manufacturers of these “non-ticking” clocks on Amazon recommend using carbon zinc batteries as opposed to alkaline, something to do with stable current output, blah blah, etc. This manufacturer is not one of them, but I ordered the Panasonic Heavy Duty Carbon Zinc batteries to be safe. Lastly, the mounting hook they provide uses four headless “nail pins” which are brutal to old, brittle latex paint - it will shatter. So I enlarged the center hole on the hook and used a skinny 3/4” wood screw to mount it to the wall, and of course pre-drilled a hole for it. Thank you for your time.
