No, they stretch to the size of your thumb and stay like that. The more you use it the more comfortable it’ll be.

As long as you only use your fingers yes it would be good plus the machines screen wont get all dirty from finger residue.

Will these tips fit over, and work with, a leather work glove?

Jason et al: Yes, but it would depend upon the thickness of the gloves. They do give/stretch a bit, and I've tried this with my thin goat skinned riding gloves, I will have to adhere/glue it to the tips to make it stay in place. The color variety is nice and they work well for my application, just expect you'll have to work around the obvious. I purchased a pair of riding gloves with the finger pads sewn on, and they wore off the touch screen portion, much faster than I would have expected.
