Years ago, I sent for a bottle from a shrine in Illinois, site of the Blessed Mother Mary's appearance to Bernadette in Lourdes, France. The miracle of the holy water has made this a mecca for those seeking healing. The fact it was also blessed by a priest there, makes it very special. I bought one for myself and two for friends. When someone is going to surgery, I make the sign of the cross on their forehead with it.
