Best little brushes
I bought this set because these type of brushes were recommended for cleaning vintage razors, which I purchase and resell. They are excellent for removing buildup in stages. I used the blue one to get what the white one missed. I finished with the brass, giving it a bright finish before polishing with a good quality polish, Flint. These brushes are DURABLE-I've used them on several razors as well as some dingy silver jewelry. Everything came out better than expected. I rinse them in alcohol for sterile purposes between projects. I expect these to last a long time. Good product. The pic shows some of the razors I cleaned with these.

Great set of brushes for most cleaning situations
I really like this set of brushes. They are very well made and having 3 different brushes with varying bristles is wonderful. Most of the time I am using either the white bristle for brushing out the inside of my handguns, and using the brass to clean the bolt carrier group out of my AR. I have recently found a need for the blue brush after purchasing a used pistol that had not been cleaned very well. It is a nice medium for when you still don't want to use the brass. All in all, I would definitely buy this again. I may be buying a second set mainly because the brass bristles have started to poke in various directions after many uses. 5 Stars for a great set of brushes.

very good
I actually bought these to clean the calcium/mineral deposits off of the Warm Mist Humidifier in my daughter's room. We have very hard water in my area and a warm mist humidifier builds up deposits quickly. I use the blue one mostly as it has a hard, non-abrasive bristle. The copper gets used for tougher deposits. I save the white one for my pistol cleaning. The size of each brush is good and can get most of the small spots on a Glock. The price was good and they've lasted a while, so they get 5-Stars for now. These worked great at removing residue from a shotgun I was cleaning. Only issue, and this isn't really a complaint so much as a nitpick, is the bristles on the bronze brush are really easy to bend in all sorts of weird angles. I don't expect I'll be using the bronze brush or if I do I'll have to replace it earlier than I expected. Still, definitely worth the money. These brushes have been a great addition to my firearm cleaning supplies. They are holding up very well and perform the job better than I had expected. Previously, I was just using a toothbrush but found it tough to reach certain parts of my weapon. These brushes are thinner than a toothbrush and fit easily in places I wasn't able to reach before. Having 3 different brushes allows me to use the harder bristles, when needed and the softer, when needed. These are a great buy for the price.

...
Three brushes - soft nylon (white), firm nylon (blue), and bronze (I don't know why everyone keeps calling the last one "copper" - they're sort of the same thing but the terms cannot be used interchangeably). I use the blue brush on most of my firearms to remove carbon (especially around the bore and feed ramp on pistol barrels), and sometimes the bronze brush to remove deeply-set carbon or other deposits. I also have a screw-on version of the blue brush (about 2" long) which came in an Otis gun cleaning kit - I actually prefer that over the full-length brushes because it's easier to scrub with. The miniature brushes on the opposite end are a nice touch but I don't find myself using them much because the dimensions of the plastic handle make it hard for them to fit in most small crevices for which they were intended. The price of this pack isn't all that bad. The cheapest tooth brush 3-pack I've found on Amazon is around $4/shipped. The Otis 3-pack is at least double that ($9 plus s/h) but the brushes are good quality, one of them is bronze which isn't cheap, and tooth brush bristles are usually not firm enough to clean stubborn fouling. I ordered http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00L1QWP0U so I will give them a try and report back on a comparison. If they work well, I will probably save the money and buy them from now on.

Otis Variety Pack - 3 Receiver Brushes - Just what I needed to properly clean my AR's receiver and bolt carrier - Affordable
***** Update 07/10/2017 ***** Returned and purchased a second set having worn the first set out. Will probably be back again in a year or two for another set. **** Original review **** After putting it off by trying every other combination of q-tip, old toothbrushes, paper towels and gun rags... I finally caved in and purchased the proper three-pack set of cleaning brushes (two nylon and a bronze). Man-o-man, I should have done this a long time ago as these are just the ticket for getting into the receiver and bolt carrier and really giving them a decent scrub. Now, combined with a little Breakfree and long handled tapered g-tips I can run 300 - 400 rounds downrange and then come back and do a really good, quick cleanup. So far the two nylon brushes have been just right for both the interior and exterior scrub jobs, but I am sure to find a time when the bronze brush's scrubbing power will be called on too. The brushes housed on small end are fantastic at getting into the narrow channels of the AR's receiver and inside of the bolt carrier, and that seems to be the biggest benefit to me. Sure - the packaging is the typical gotta-hang-from-a-retail-shop-display tough stuff to open, but a boxing knife made quick 5 seconds work of that and I have no problem telling the brushes apart whatsoever. Staying focused on the product itself, one just can't argue that these brushes do anything but make life more pleasant while improving the longevity of my firearms. At nine bucks and free shipping, what is not too like!! Excellent purchase that I recommend highly if you have a similar need.

These are excellent brushes. Even the white (softest) brush is stiffer than a typical toothbrush. White brush works well for general wiping not parts that don't have much gunk built up. Blue brush actually works great for scrubbing most things without damaging the blueing or scratching anything. And the bronze brush is as you'd expect: good for scrubbing the feed ramp, firing pin, etc. I also really like the combination of big and small brushes. Small brushes do a much better job getting into corners, slide rails and other tight spots than the big brush. All are holding up well so far. I definitely should have gotten these sooner

Really nice brushes... I love they way they have double sides, one with full brush and the other one for fine cleaning (like pistols slide inside rail).Really worth it for the price! edit: More than two years later the same brushes are still doing a great job. Cleaned my pistols and rifles around a hundred times and they are still working great. No sign of fatigue on blue and transparent nylon brushes and only a little on the brass one. These are awesome brushes!

Must have, inexpensive, tools to keep your firearms clean. There are 3 brushes, a soft white brush, firm blue, and a brass brush to get out the tough baked on carbon. There are two ends, a thick side with a large surface area, and a thin side to get into tight spots. These brushes are great.

These are great brushes and have worked well for aiding me to clean my firearms. I like nylon brushes and that they are of different firmness to each other. Little expensive for what thry are and could be of a bit higher quality but al in all, work well.

I have used all three brushes depending on the use and have cleaned everything from rifles to carburetors.
