This dress was lighter color than I expected for a black tie wedding, but I added a black sash and all was good! Much better quality than I was expecting it did need to be steamed pretty aggressively, but overall the fabric was great and heavy. This dress is great for bustier women. It was big on me and I usually struggle with that. It was also extremely long. I am almost 6 feet tall and it was still touching the ground in heels. Overall, I would give this five stars. I absolutely loved running around in this dress and several people told me I looked like Ariel. Honestly, pretty impressive for the price.

The dress was well made, and fit my 5’6” perfectly, needing no hemming. She looked stunning in the emerald green.

I was a little hesitant to buy this dress, but before I began my review, let me state I have in no way received any type of renumeration or discount or anything for this review. I paid the price listed and the review has not been shaped by any third party interference. Now that that's out of the way... Can I say WOW.... I mean seriously. This dress exceeds every and any expectations I had of it. It came so tightly packaged that I was convinced it was some thin cheap material crap. The person that packed this needs to come with me when I travel or to organize my closet and drawers. I was gearing up to be disappointed. I know a previous review stated that it was tightly packaged but reading it and seeing it are two different things. The material is gorgeous. The colour is rich and vibrant. The material is also not flimsy or see through. Total inspection revealed no tears or snags or hanging threads. The dress is beautiful and most importantly, it's gut, belly, pouch, muffin top, junk in the trunk what ever situation you have going on below the waist, friendly. I tried it on without the supporting undergarments that I would wear on the night in question and it fit. Please note that this is not a one person dress by yourself type of garment. You will need help with the corsetted back. The corsetted back allows for a more snug fit. Most importantly, please, please, please order your size according to the size chart. Rule of thumb, always order for the largest part of your body. For example if your breast is a size 20 but your waist is a 24, don't order a 20 or a 22 order the 24 a good seamstress will take care of it. To give you an example, according to the size chart my chest is a 26, my hips are a 24 and my waist is a 22/24 (in between size) and after consultation with a friend who owns a bridal store I ordered a 26. I was hesitant, but I am glad I listened to her. The size 26 fits my bust to a 't'. Had I ordered a 22 or 24 I would have had to return it or give it away because it would not be able to fit. I did have to go to a seamstress for her to take in the waist, but that is okay. I am 5'6" and the only alterations I need is to the waist as I love the train shape and length. Please also note the split is high. Very High. A wrong shift in the dress and all of your bloomers/drawers/panties WILL SHOW. I had the seamstress tack it down to about mid thigh. The dress once again is gorgeous. I will upload a pic of it when the event happens. I would totally and completely order this again, maybe in red for the Heart Ball.

The dress is absolutely beautiful, and my daughter is thrilled to wear it to her senior prom. Its elegant design and overall appearance have made her very excited for the special occasion. One of the standout features of this dress is the inclusion of pockets. This is especially convenient for teenagers, as my daughter appreciates having a place to keep her phone with her during the event. The only drawback I encountered is the lacing at the back of the dress. It requires an extra set of hands to properly lace up, which can be a bit challenging. The addition of a hook and eye to hold the back flap in place while lacing would make the process much easier and improve the overall experience.

Holy flippin’ flap, this dress is gorgeous! The high quality fabric has just the right amount of body, the sizing is on point, the tailoring is very professional, the color rich... I only have positive points for this dress and I am definitely getting more colors! 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜💖 ... Y’know, for rainy days and events that require some old school Hollywood Glam! In my country a dress of this style and quality would be several thousand moneys! At least 8-10 times what this seller charges. In-sane! 🤯 The practicals: I bought a size 6 wine red, live in Denmark and am 172 cm (~5’8”-9”) tall. Shipping charge was as expected for Europe, it arrived in about a week (!) and there was a minor import charge (not the seller’s fault!). I got the dress for a wedding with a formal dress code. I am 35, mixed race half-Asian, relatively tall with athletic build (to give you an idea of the fit). I have worked in fashion a costuming for a number of years and this is my first garment purchase from Amazon. The dress itself is hangs a few cm above the floor in the front when I’m in heels and has a little train. So glamorous! I laced the back as a proper corset for the best fit around the waist (and so I can put the dress on without assistance) but the bodice itself doesn’t work as a corset as the eyelets are individually sewn on loops of fabric instead of enforced metal eyelets known from corsets. The skirt part has a matching underskirt which I removed but the pleats and sheer amount of fabric in the skirt itself keep the slit family friendly. The pleats also allow the addition of pockets if you like to eliminate the need to carry a clutch/bag around. The sleeves fit my arms to the millimeter. The wedding hasn’t taken place yet, and my only issue is that I’m afraid to wear the dress as I would definitely take attention from the bride 😬 My first choice would be to style with court stilettos, sleek wavy hair with a side part, simple gemstone earrings and matching necklace (optional), French manicure, cat eye liner and your favourite red lip for a Hollywood glam look. My second choice would be to style with gold/silver/rose gold or clear strappy stiletto sandals, smokey eyes, nude (understated) lip and a fierce pose for a more modern look.

Get this dress ❤️!!! it looks much more expensive than what it was, the quality was very good and it fit perfect. And has pockets. When I first got it, I wasn’t sure how I felt because it was very wrinkled but as soon as I steamed it, it looked like a very expensive high-end dress. No one could believe I got it on Amazon. Because of the corset back, it can fit different body shapes, and sizes. I cannot be more happy with this purchase.

This dress was better than expected. We actually saw somebody unboxed it on TikTok and we’re very intrigued. It took about two weeks to get from what appeared to be China. We ordered the emerald green color. It is a very well-made dress. The fabric is a thicker quality satin if that makes sense. The detailing is outstanding and the pockets are even better. Well it’s been shown as a high-low dress, our seamstress determined that it’s more of a liner inside the dress than an actual part of the dress. There is a slight train in the back. And after seeing the same stressed we decided to Hemet all the way around and lose that part of the train or puddle. The stress will be worn at a senior prom. We felt it was tasteful and yet elegant without exposing too much. The back takes a few minutes to lease up in a corset style. There is support boning around the bodice of the dress. The dress it’s self the long portion, is not lined but there is no need for any type of liner. It is slightly off the shoulder with a almost sweetheart front that provides coverage. We ordered a size 12. My girl is 5’8” about 160 and is 32DDD. 29” waist. Overall the sizing was perfect. As I mentioned we don’t need to alter the bust or bodice area just the length. Pro tip - the seamstress is going to the extra fabric and make a matching mask. I would buy the stress again and in another color. This is perfect for prom, or formal or even a wedding.

I bought this dress for a Mardi Gras ball. I was nervous to buy it because I wasn't sure what size to get. I recently lost weight and have been between dress sizes. I ended up going with the larger size just in case. I ordered a size 16. I am 5'5 200 lbs and I wear a size 36 DD bra. It fit well as the corset strings allow for quite a bit of give and take. The dress is just as described and high quality material. The only thing I noticed that I did not see mentioned anywhere is that there is boning in the stomach and chest area to hold the top up. I like that it was there, but just so you are aware, there are several pieces. Also, the built in cups, they are small, but I did not find a problem, they didn't look weird so I didn't remove them. I did wear a strapless bra underneath. The arms do limit range of motion and are kind of tight but that wasn't a huge issue. I am wearing 5 inch heels to give you a gauge of how long the dress actually is. I did no alterations whatsoever. The strings for the corset are kind of short, and the back panel took a bit of maneuvering to get it straight, but these were all just minor things. Also, the underneath is a different type of material, it is like a double layer cotton. The dress was perfect and people actually chased me down to tell me how much they loved it!

This dress is everything it looks in the photos. Beautifully made, fits really well, colour and fabric just divine. LOVE IT.
