0.5mmpb Xray Lead Apron for Xray with Thyroid Shield Collar,Lead Gown,Dental Xray Shield

This is my first purchase of a lead x-ray apron and it was what I expected. I saw other similar products on another website that sells them, and the price of this was more to much more reasonable. It has a Velcro closure to adjust the tightness and fit which is convenient and well constructed. The blue color is a nice rich shade. The medium fit runs a bit small because size is kind of ambiguous in a way, and I am a female who wears a dress size 4 and this fits me the way I want it to because I want my torso to be well protected and don’t like any outer garments to be very close fitting and like large arm holes for my clothing underneath . So if a male purchased this, it would fit but the arm holes would be more snug depending on the arm girth and musculature, and then the chest size is a factor. So a man who is medium in overall size but has a large chest would need a large.

As expected. It does have a smell but once out for 24 hours, smell is gone. Easy to put on and off.

Another update. After 4 weeks the smell is almost completely gone. Quality is very good and best price around. Feels sturdy and looks good. Customer service stated they will be producing them in a new way to eliminate the smell. Update: Added star rating. After having it for almost 3 weeks, the bad plastic/rubber smell is less and more tolerated with airing it out. Will update again if the smell goes away. Company did finally get back to me and explain that the reason behind the smell is the plastic/rubber used and that will fade with time. When buying then expect to leave outside for few weeks for the smell to subside or u can pay much more for one without the smell. Seems well made and one size fits most for a very good price. Looks and feels good. Smells really bad, like chemical/recycled plastic and cigarettes combined. Cleaned and aired outside for a whole week now and the smell is less but still there. Contacted customer service but no solution!!

Worth the money

I like the ease of putting this on. I also like that it is light weight.

Excelente aunque solo es el mandil. Tiene muy buena protección. Lo probé en fluroscopio y no pasó nada del rayo. Volveria a comprar

Es justo lo que publican, pero viene en talla XL y para elnpromedio de personas mexicanas es grande, habría que hacer algunos ajustes Pero es buena calidad /relación con el precio
